A: We were going to stack them but decided to put side by side which actually worked better in our space. I highly recommend the GE washer / dryer but DO NOT recommend you buy them through Best Buy. We had nothing but aggravation dealing with getting our order correct and then having it delivered only to have the delivery people not wanting to install it on that day. It took several days to get action from Best Buy and the promise of a Credit for our trouble. We are still waiting for the Best Buy gift card (only credit they will give). I expect we won't ever see that in the mail so they can expect we will no longer give them our business.
A: The connection on the back of the dryer is short, but you can purchase longer dryer hose to connect to the dryer and run too your house vent. Very easy too install, I’m not a very handy guy, and was able too install myself. I also used vent tape too help with the hold and seal too both ends of my dryer hose.
