Purchased 11/2024 to replace same model used for 22 years but in biscuit color with issues with one burner. Yesterday, June 19, 2025, the lower right burner, main one I use all the time, quit working mid cooking. Will not heat at all. If I had many options, I may have looked for a different cooktop, but because it is installed in an island and I had to comply with the original configuration, I didn't have much choice. I am so incredibally disappointed in this situation. It is under warranty, but I will have to contact GE and try to get it repaired and how much confidence am I supposed to have in the integrity of the product? And how long will I have to wait for the repair? This was a very expensive appliance. If you have options I would not recommend this based on this experience. It looks great but obviously that's about it.

Item had to be reordered. Installer said it was defective (he put it in backwards, I had to tell him the knobs go in front). Still waiting for new one to be installed.
