Very convenient having the Air Fryer feature but doesn’t heat as fast and as hot as a countertop air fryer. You need to pre heat and cook for longer periods of time. The stainless steel interior is nice for easy cleaning. Very easy installation compared to my 15 year old GE.

This oven works as described. I feel at 950 watts it is underpowered compared to our previous GE Profile Microwave. Love having it at eye level. Would prefer a different control panel, one where you have a key pad and can just enter the time and temps rather than that dial. Also, the sound options are limiting. The HIGH volume is still to low to hear in a busy kitchen.

This multifunction, top of the line Microwave is wonderful. Many great features, including convection cooking and options galore. Very complex, however. There is a dial that you rotate for choosing many functions and setting cook times, etc. There are no numbers to enter. The dial is how you choose details. While the unit I have is still new, it has become evident that the dial, which not only turns but is pushed to execute functions, is going to be a weak spot for future failure. Any moving part is likely to wear down, and the dial gets used a lot! Make sure you have a good extended warranty contract as it appears as though this is a design feature that might easily fail. Make sure you get TotalTech from BestBuy. Otherwise great microwave.

We have always purchased GE and therfore did so again. Overall a good product but expensive for what it is. It is apparent that over the years GE has cut back on quality of parts used. My one complaint is that the control knob is a bit flimsy. For an $800 unit GE should have done better. The unit is sharp in appearance with vibrant stainless steel. The touch pad is a bit busy and dull, sometimes making it difficult to find the desired feature. Overall I doubt anyone would be disappointed with this unit, as it is a solid product, works well and looks great!

I really like my new GE Profile microwave | convection oven | Air Fryer. I do sometimes think it is a bit under-powered, I do not find this as a major concern. I have been experimenting a lot and I really like this appliance.

This is a really nice microwave / convection oven. But if I had it to do over again, I would have purchased the (equivalent) version that doesn’t have the knob. I thought the knob would make it easier to rapidly select times and what not. But the engineer at GE that worked on this neutered the behaviors behind the knob rendering it a “pretty” waste of time. It’s also annoying to keep clean. So, just go for the flat panel sibling. Otherwise, it’s a really good if not outstanding (finishes in “show” position) oven.

The microwave works great albeit there is a rattle in the fan. We suspect when it was installed the screws on the vent fitting were installed with a power driver and stripped the thin metal. I just havent had a chance to pull it down yet to fix. The installer best buy contracted was a joke snd damaged several appliances and the replacements. The microwave has been great otherwise.

I replaced my like for like to this upgrade, as my old one gave out after 10years. I knocked one star off because the upgraded version requires you to turn a knob for the cooking time rather than pushing one button to start.

The installation was great. The machine works fine as far as I know. Which is a problem. Finding an operator's manual was difficult and I still don't have a good reference as to what this thing can do.

So far it has been a decent purchase. Unfortunately the company who I wrote prior to ordering is not real responsive or understanding of the issue I posted. I asked what was the total space required to install the unit and to insure that the door didn’t hit my pantry. So I asked specifically how much the door added when fully opened. Their response - it’s designed to fit in a 30” space. WRONG! It takes 31” to fully open the door if you have a wall on the left side.

The product was purchased to replace a 10 year old system. I do not use it often but I like the fact it takes up a little less space and offers the convection oven option.

The microwave works great but trying to figure out the air fryer is frustrating. GE did not supply any information about instructions and when I called to get the booklet was told I had to print it myself as they were going green! If It was installed I would have returned it. Getting the hang of the air fryer but it is frustrating! Very unhappy with GE!

Does good job but microwave is less powerful than regular microwave. Convection oven is fair, also slow. Generally, i would recommend this productive.

Hi there, and thank you for reaching out. While we’re glad you like the microwave overall, we regret that you feel it’s not powerful enough and the convection oven is slow. We always want to provide a great product for our consumers, and your concerns will be shared with our team for review. The microwave has 950 watts (IEC-705 test procedure), and we do expect the convection oven may cook slower than the microwave function but faster than cooking in a non-convection/’regular’ oven. If it might be helpful, we have more information on using the microwave and convection features in the product’s manual; if you’d like, you can view that on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product page. We’re confident this microwave will serve your needs well for a long time to come, and we’re always available to assist if you have any concerns or questions in the future. All the best! -Sarah@GEA <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/stratos-logos/logos/GE_Appliances.jpg" alt="GE_Appliances" title="GE_Appliances" style="display: block !important; margin-top: 2em !important; border: 1px solid #ccc !important; padding: 2px !important; background-color: white !important;" />

A little high for my short bones, not GE's fault! But I thought that it was strange that the "manual" did not come with the appliance, but I had to call to get it sent to me and that was a delay in my getting familiar with the appliance, several days by time it arrived in the mail. Why would it not come WITH THE APPLIANCE??? Thank you.

This is a perfect microwave with the exception it should have more options for reheating. The convection, air frying and other features are absolutely wonderful to have in one appliance, it does not have a toaster though guess you can't have everything.
