Loudest when ice cubes fall into the ice bin, otherwise, extremely quiet. Once past the initial cool down, seems to be using about 1/2 the power the 15 year old Maytag it replaced. LED lights are much nicer than any refrigerator I have seen. Storage is fantastic, our only complaint is the difficulty of installation and moving of the shelves (instructions for that REALLY do need a LOT of work!)

Great refrigerator so far and I have not found any cons. It is making ice and ice maker works flawlessly. Lighting seems to be great. A lot of storage space in the doors. This refrigerator is actually smaller than our last one but you don’t notice the difference. I would pick this one all over again. Some reviews kept taking about weird noises coming from refrigerator, have not heard no such noises. I have just heard a normal refrigerator operating through it’s cycles. Great refrigerator!

I bought this model due to the fact my new home came with all GE SS appliances and I wanted everything to match. The very positive reviews for this particular model steered me away from others and the high capacity ice maker was a must. So far, with one month of solid use, I am very pleased with the refrigerator's performance. Large door bins and great drawer/shelf space make this model a winner. And it is extremely quiet. In fact, I can't tell you how much quieter this refrigerator is compared to the Amana we replaced. And the ice capacity is ridiculous!!! We have had large groups over and never come close to running out of ice! So far, this has been a great buy!

Although I've only had this appliance for a few weeks, it is working very well. It is the two-door, side-by-side model which seems outdated now, but in my opinion is considerably better than the three door models. It is brightly lit inside, well organized, and appears to keep food the correct temperature. I'm very happy with it.

I used to have a side by side GE refrigerator which lasted 17 years . It finally gave up last week . So I decided to get the same kind . The delivery came on time and the it is very nice and quiet. I tested water filter and it gave me a TDS 334 which is kind of high so I will use the ice only . The freezer has plenty of room and many movable basket and of course the LED light is very impressive. The refrigerator section is very spacious and has many large compartments for gallon milk . This unit is deep in Size so it might stick out from your cabinet which I really don’t mind . Nice buy so far .

This fridge is the best ever supper quiet ice maker best watter maker this fridge is #1. 5 stars across the board. I have to worry you about the delivery crew they will mess the fridge and your house up best thing you could do is get a few people to video in side and one out side whale they are bring it In from start to finish

I had a 23 cubic foot version of this fridge which was dying on me and I'm so glad I chose to go with the biggest version. The door shelves fit full gallon jugs and the shelves fit so much more food than the smaller version. It is also pretty quiet for such a large fridge.

Everything works perfectly at three weeks since delivery. Best Buy was excellent at delivery and set up. This is a larger model than our previous GE side by side. Excellent interior lighting, and the temperatures hold very well in the various compartments. Adjustable shelving works well for us. Previous GE was failing at temperature control and miserable ice maker at 10-11 years. Hope our success with this PSS28KSHSS lasts.

Reliable and quiet refrigerator. Well organized and has large and sturdy ice maker. Filters are proprietary which is a bit annoying and the letters on the dispenser section could be larger, brighter or easier to read but these are minor compared to the overall quality of the appliance.

So far so good, only one week old. Plenty of space and nice led lighting.

The placement of the ice compartment takes up a lot of room making the freezer area smaller than I'd like. I do enjoy the bright lighting and it's working well so far. Wish it had a wine rack like my Samsung did but all in all I'm pleased. And I can put my travel magnets on it unlike some stainless appliances!

This is a very nice fridge-icemaker works great. After having bought an LG fridge 2 years ago the freezer stopped working. We had the geek squad contract but all of the sub-contracted service people refused to come out and service it. We decided to replace with this GE fridge. Kudos to Geek Squad and Best Buy for taking care of us. Thank you! Hopefully if the GE breaks down we will be able to have it serviced.

I selected the side-by-side unit because I prefer it over the French Door style. This fridge is very quite, and due to the size of my home this was one of the main selling points. Some reviews say there is a problem with some items freezing in the fridge compartment. Personally I have not seen this at all.

I selected this fridge/freezer due to the size and quiet operation. I also wanted a side-by-side. This is an excellent unit. It is so quiet you can hardly tell when it is is on. There is plenty of accessible space in both the fridge and freezer. I also have to mention the installation team. They were quick and efficient did a very good job. The is an excellent fridge/freezer. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Replaced our old GE profile. Improved ice maker / water dispenser so that overflow doesn't leak into door like our 2002 model did. Like the volume of ice

It has many compartments which is very convenient for me to organize the food.

The refrigerator works and looks great in our kitchen. The water and ice feature on the door is excellent. The delivery and installation was perfect and the two gentlemen were outstanding and provided the best customer service. The frig is large with lots of room for a large family! Thank you!

After going through 5 fridges BestBuy finally brought us the correct one & one that worked!

In home delivery was easy with Best Buy. The refrigerator has a lot of space for storage and great lighting to be able to see what you are looking for.

This refrigerator holds a lot of ice, has great lighting and stores a lot of food. Nice shelves, easy to clean, quiet refrigerator. I’d purchase it again!
