Q: Do i need a hub for this fan control?

Q: Can this control fan speed and turn the lights on and off? My fan has lights built in.
A: The switch can do one or the other but not both. You would need two switches, one to control the fan and a second to control the light. I would use a light dimmer for the light it is less expensive and better suited for the task.
Q: Will this switch work with regular ceiling fan(non smart)?
A: We bought new fans at Lowes and then just rewired our house to accommodate the new switch. The fan is a normal fan not smart.
Q: How many watts ? I need a switch with 20 watts
A: The maximum load of this switch is 2.5 amps.
