    hepa pure replacement filter.

    Proved Itself Over a Tough Week

    We bought the GermGuardian with this filter to fight the last week or so of the dense smoke that blew into San Francisco directly from the wine country fires. After about 10 days of the fire other models were all sold out which is a good thing: this model/filter worked very well to pull out the accumulated smoke particles and smog from our closed-up but still polluted house. We ran it at high settings for 4 days straight in successive rooms to bring the air/aroma up to normal for a house guest we would have. I don't know if this use qualifies as weeks or months of normal usage, but after about a week of this use I checked the filter. The black side has a lot of sooty accumulation I can wash off; the opposite HEPA side seems only slightly coated.

    Great single room air filter. These replacements are long-lasting and work great. Traps everything and the carbon deodorizes.
