I've played for years, used tons of strings, I must say that Boomers are the best bang for the buck. They feel smooth, last a long time and sound great.

this is kind of strings i like to use. I've been using this for almost 20 years. I like the sound. you can make great pull offs on this strings. You can save some of money buying this strings

I have a relatively new Silvertone guitar. This Chinese -made guitar has respectable action and decent sound capabilities. I confess, that I wouldn't have been caught dead with a Silvertone when I first started playing. Now I own one. The GHS boomer strings were recommended as replacements for this guitar by Silvertone. After the string installation I adjusted the action - a couple of strings could be lowered and one had to be raised a tad for no buzz. I think these are great strings for the price, they are easy on the fingers and they sound good.

I love these strings, good sound, long lasting. Would highly recommend to anyone, beginner to expert!
