Give your snare drum a true vintage voice with the Gibraltar SC-14VSFSH 14-Inch Single-Flanged Snare Side Hoop. Inspired by classic chopper-style drum hardware, this hoop brings the sound and look of early drum kits into your modern setup. Built to fit 14-inch snare drums on the bottom side, the SC-14VSFSH features a single-flanged design that allows your snare head to resonate more openly. The result is a fuller, warmer tone that feels organic and uncompressed—ideal for jazz, retro rock, and traditional acoustic drumming. The chrome finish adds a polished vintage touch, making your drum look as good as it sounds. This hoop is especially suited for drummers building custom snares or restoring vintage drums to their original specifications. It requires claw hooks like Gibraltar’s SC-VHTRC for proper installation, ensuring a secure, period-correct setup. Whether you're after a visual throwback or the tonal warmth of vintage gear, this snare-side hoop delivers on every level. Add it to your snare for character-rich sound, smooth response, and old-school flair you won’t find in modern hoops.
Perfectly sized to fit 14-inch snare drums on the snare (bottom) side, this hoop offers wide compatibility with vintage-style or custom snare drum builds requiring traditional hardware.
This hoop features a vintage single-flanged, chopper-style construction that delivers an open, natural tone with a classic look that pays homage to early drum design.
The bright chrome finish not only adds retro visual appeal but also offers reliable corrosion resistance and long-lasting strength for regular gigging or studio use.
This hoop must be used with claw hooks, such as the Gibraltar SC-VHTRC (sold separately), making it ideal for authentic vintage-style snare drum assemblies or restorations.
Whether you're crafting a one-of-a-kind snare or bringing a vintage piece back to life, this hoop is the perfect finishing touch for a drum that’s as expressive as it is timeless.
