If you're looking for a snare stand that can handle aggressive playing and give you the flexibility to set up exactly the way you like, the Gibraltar 9706 Snare Drum Stand is a rock-solid choice. Part of Gibraltar’s high-end 9000 Series, this stand is built for serious drummers who need strength, flexibility, and consistency in every performance. The Ultra Adjust basket is a standout feature—it gives you smooth, easy movement in virtually any direction, so you can position your snare at just the right angle without being limited to fixed notches. Whether you prefer a flat setup or a steep tilt, this stand adapts to you. You’ll also love the Super Lock height adjustment system. It uses ABS inserts to prevent metal-on-metal wear and reduce vibration, while the memory lock helps you keep your ideal height from rehearsal to performance. It’s designed to feel smooth, stay quiet, and hold strong. At the base, Gibraltar’s Super Foot rubber tips offer extra grip and stability across all floor surfaces. And with a low starting height of 13 inches, this stand is perfect for deep snare drums or players who sit lower and want a tighter kit profile. From touring drummers to studio pros, the 9706 brings the quality, adjustability, and road-ready durability that Gibraltar is known for. It's a small but powerful part of your kit that makes a big difference every time you play.
