The Gibraltar SC-LRL-1 Large L-Rod Mounting Arm is an essential hardware upgrade for drummers looking to secure toms and percussion accessories with confidence. Designed with flexibility and compatibility in mind, this rod features a dual-diameter format: a 12mm lower arm that fits into standard clamps, and a 12.7mm upper rod that mounts easily into tom brackets. This makes it incredibly versatile—great for drummers using mixed hardware brands or building out modular setups. Its 3.5-inch knurled mounting area provides a secure connection inside the clamp, ensuring your drum or accessory stays locked in place throughout every performance. The rugged chrome construction gives it the strength needed for stage and studio environments, while the precise design makes it easy to install, adjust, and trust. Whether you're mounting a new tom, positioning a percussion add-on, or replacing a worn L-rod, the SC-LRL-1 delivers Gibraltar’s legendary hardware quality with the flexibility to support your unique playing style and setup preferences.
The SC-LRL-1 features a smart two-size design—a 12mm lower arm that fits into most clamp systems, and a 12.7mm upper rod that slots seamlessly into common tom brackets. This makes it a go-to option for drummers using mixed hardware or customizing their kit layout.
The extended 3.5-inch knurled surface offers improved grip where it matters most—at the clamp connection. The textured finish ensures the rod stays locked in place, minimizing unwanted movement even under aggressive playing conditions.
Whether you're mounting a tom, cowbell, or block, this L-rod is designed to fit a wide range of percussion hardware. Its shape and sizing make it compatible with Gibraltar and other leading brand mounts, helping you expand your setup effortlessly.
Crafted from rugged steel and finished in smooth chrome, the SC-LRL-1 is made to last through years of live shows, rehearsals, and recording sessions. Its consistent performance and clean look make it a favorite among pros and hobbyists alike.
Perfect for players who need flexibility in mounting, this rod works great in custom kits, rack builds, hybrid setups, or as a durable replacement for older, worn-out components. Dependable, functional, and easy to integrate into your kit.
