I was building a new set up and saw the prices of gpus more than doubled since last time I purchased one (gtx 1070), so when i was an open box deal in satisfactory condition for $825 I thought I might as well give it a shot. My card was listed as having a scratch on it, but when I opened it, it looked good as new. Installed quickly, I had some awful luck with drivers causing windows to crash, along with an error message, but I ran amds driver removal tool, along with display driver removal software, reinstalled and i have been happy with the performance ever since. I don't notice coil whine, but my case has 7 fans, with a more aggressive curve. Temperatures have been great, but the gigabyte software for controlling the RGB logo is hot garbage. Overall, if you're looking for 4k at a better price than a 4080 or 4090 I'd recommend this, 24GB of VRAM is nice to have for less optomized PC ports. The design of this specific card is pretty basic, which may or may not be appealing depending on if you have a preference for unicorn vomit levels of RGB. From what I've been able to research, ray tracing preformance is comparable to the 30 series of Nvidia GPUs, with RT enabled I get smooth performance in CyberPunk 2077. The Addrenalin software suit is pretty intuitive to use too. The card isn't egregious in size either. If you can get this below $900 I'd call it a no brainer at nearly half the cost of a 4090, and 3/4ths of the more comprable 4080.

Finally a graphics card that performs really well and actually fits in my case, i have the rog strix 4080 and it couldnt fit at all, this however fit perfectly while still having some space for cooling, also prefroms like the 4080, i highly recommended undervolting it because she is power hungry

Best card i’ve ever had, I’ve been strictly a nivida rtx owner and I gotta say this card is amazing. If you have the chance to get it don’t sleep on it cause it is worth it. Stays cool on high demanding games and the fans are not loud at all. One last thing… Make sure your case can fit this card, although it’s a lot slimmer then other cards it’s pretty long. I had to remove my middle front fan for it to fit comfortably and I have a large tower.

After installing this card, I was very impressed with the overall performance, but the cooling was the most impressive... and yet somewhat disappointing. Overall, temps stayed around the 50-56C range under heavy load. The only complaint I have is the fan noise was much louder than expected. Even at 20% fan speedthe noise was quite loud. At max fan speed it sounds like a small vacuum cleaner. Either way, I swapped the cooler for a waterblock and now noise is no longer a problem.

Overall great card. I am coming from a 3070ti and I run an ultrawide 1440 monitor. I am able to run games on high settings and get substantially better/consistent frame rates. I did experience high idle power draw, a workaround for now is to disable HDR in windows.

I was going to leave a 4 star, but the value here, if you can find a deal, is unbeatable. The issues: The card is long. Forget small cases unless they are much longer than some full atx cases. I have a Corsair Air 540 cube case. I had to move my AIO Corsair to the top and mount the bottom front fan on the outside of the case just to get the card to fit. The second issue the little stablizer metal piece to stop the card from sagging. That just flat out didn't fit in my case, I had to cut an inch off of it so it would fit, and remember that's with that front fan mounted on the outside of the case. Drivers are sensitive. Get DDU and run it in Safe mode. Then install amd drivers. That was it. The goods: Runs games fast. 4k 120hz LG OLED. Went from 30ish fps (2080ti) to 60+ in TW3. Made a huge difference. Currently using a 5600x.

Looks and feels quality. Only a 2.3-ish slot card, yet, the cooling is great, and the fans are very quiet. There is a bit of coil whine---but its not bad. I'm actually really sensitive to coil whine. But, the sound here isn't high pitched, buzzy, or squealy. It reminds me more of the sound old hard drives make, when reading/writing data. Its a lower, sort of gurgly sound. The only bad things to say are that its a very wide card, so you need to be careful about that with your case. And this card uses a lot of power. More than some other XTX.

Extremely good GPU, Runs every single game at ultra. Can run full raytracing/pathtracing on Cyberpunk 2077 at 120fps. AMD does it again with excellent performance without killing your wallet.

This is a good graphics card and at $1050 is a decent value but I paid $800 for an open box and I'm very happy with my purchase. This replaced an Nvidia 3080 and it is a worthwhile upgrade. I upgraded due to some odd issues with a multi-monitor setup and although better I still have some issues. This card is initially a little wonky and would occasionally artifact when waking up from sleep but after latest driver, issue seems resolved.

I am no pc gaming expert, but I can set all games to ulta settings and this thing works. spent my extra money saved from not taking the leap on a 4090 for better SSD and Ram

can get over 100 fps in many games at 4k ultra settings. but make sure you have a high end cpu and ram to go along with this.

I loved this card. Only problem is I do a lot of machine learning and Windows is the most popular OS for machine learning that mainly use cuda with more ease. If you arent worried too much about AI and prefer linux only. A decent alternative to nividia. 3/5 Nividia will be better for this by 1.8x since they cater to windows 95% of the time. AMD will eventually catch up since they allow anyone to assist by having most or all there software made as open sourced. They are doing amazing work in the linux realm. Doing great job in windows except for ML/AI but will change in few more years. Gaming - plays everything perfect I returned this product only for the fact nividia runs AI better currently on windows.

The gpu has been fantastic. I haven’t had any issues and everything basically plays at 4k 120+ fps when paired with a 7800x3d.

I am an AMD lover this is a thicc GPU make sure you have room in your setup in addition if you have 850 PSU it might be time to upgrade to at least 1000 out of the box this GPU is a Beast but if you choose you can grab some more FPS but undervolting the GPU this Enjoy being a fan of AMD is looking very Brite for the price this is very Good GPU

The card is a very strong performer, driving my 3 1440p screens merged through eyefinity without breaking a sweat, but I've had more frequent crashes on this card in the the short time I've had it than on the GTX1080 I upgraded from. Holding out hope for more stable drivers as time goes on.

This is one of two 7900 XTX options that Best Buy had to offer at the time I wanted one. I got this to pair with the new Samsung 57" ultrawide UHD 240hz monitor. I have no complaints. It drives the monitor and is quiet. It is physically big and fit in my case with about 2mm to spare. I have a huge case so figured it would just fit and didn't measure first. :-o Good thing I lucked out!
