So, when this worked it worked as advertised. But the construction is terrible. The faceplate did not stay on securely... came off every time I put it in or took it out of the bracelet, and then just wouldn’t stay on at all without tape. Due to the faceplate falling off, the mechanism inside would wall out and one of the wires detached. That one seemed to be for the vibration feature as that quit working. I could still fiddle with it and make it work, but it now seems to be fully dead. I charged it, but I can’t turn it on anymore. The mechanism is shot. So it’s a mixed bag review... I recommend it because it did what it was supposed to when it worked. But at the same time, it’s not worth $40. It was on sale for about $25-27 when I bought it.

There weren't a whole lot of instructions included, but if you download the app, it will pair the Go-tcha to your phone... and that's about it. You can use the app to change settings, but I found it was easier to just change the settings on the device itself. NOTE: The default settings are all OFF so you need to change the settings to spin pokestops, catch pokemon, and vibrate if you want the feedback. This will disconnect if you get too far from your phone, and you'll have to reconnect by restarting pokemon go, selecting the Pokemon Go Plus icon on the screen, and hoping that it decides to connect. When it works, it works fantastically.

This is very helpful for when you are on the go and want to catch Pokemon but can't use your phone (when driving, riding a bike, or just walking and wanting to be more aware of your surroundings). Personally I am not very good at "throwing" Pokeballs and will sometimes waste 2-4 without even making contact with the Pokemon (which still has the chance of breaking out) so before I got this, I was going through Pokeballs FAST. This however will automatically catch them - sometimes before they even spawn on the map - and it has at least a 70% catch success rate (guessing) so it's saving me big time on Pokeballs. It will also spin the Pokestops for you too, but for some reason it will only do it if you press the button when the strap vibrates. I've also only had success spinning the pokestops if I'm driving below 30mph - if you go any faster it will tell you that the pokestop is out of range (but that might just be due to the lag caused by my bad cellular service) The only complaint I have is that this thing is a major hassle to get/keep connected to your phone. It connects from within the Pokemon Go app (not the bluetooth menu) and will NOT automatically reconnect, if the app is closed and re-opened. Sometimes I have to waste up to 5 minutes just sitting here opening and closing the app, disconnecting and reconnecting bluetooth, then clicking the connect button 3-4 times before it actually successfully connects. Then, you can lock the screen, but if you switch between certain apps or if you accidentally close Pokemon Go, you will have to restart the whole connection process... Not sure if it's just an issue with my phone but I never have had any other issues with any of my other Bluetooth devices. Either way, I plan on upgrading soon so hopefully that remedies the connection issue.

The Go-tcha is a great way to spin stops and catch Pokemon safely while driving or biking. (It only throws one regular ball one time, so its catch rate is about 1/2, but that's a lot better than 0.) The charge lasts for maybe 6-8 hours of use. It's totally usable with a few minor problems. You need to download the Go-tcha Update app to configure it, and if you have used another Go-tcha or Pokeball Plus, you need to manually remove that entry from your phone's Bluetooth list before the new Go-tcha can connect. An internet connection is required to sync it to your phone; it can take a minute or two for the connection to succeed, and it sometimes drops for no apparent reason or seems to connect but then doesn't do anything. The Go-tcha is also supposed to show graphics when it spins a stop or encounters a Pokemon, but it doesn't always -- the notifications that appear on your phone are more reliable. Overall, though, it does what I want, which is catch Pokemon and earn stardust. I'm a much better driver when I'm not trying to throw Pokeballs at every stoplight!

At first it didn't seem like it was working. That's because I needed to allow Background Refresh for Pokemon Go AND also set my privacy settings to allow access to my location ALWAYS for Pokemon Go. Once I did this, I am able to lock my phone or open another app, and the device will do what it's supposed to for up to an hour (there is an in-game limit of one hour Pokemon Go Plus sessions). So you'll have to occasionally start a new session but that is how it is intended to function. Auto-catching works great as do pokemon stop spins, as long as there aren't other pokemon nearby that it targets first. The default wristband looks dorky and the charger doesn't hold the Go-tcha very well, so I bought a replacement for both items on Amazon for a total of $8 and now I'm set.

Could use an additional 'case' instead of the kiddie bracelet. Bare device too often slip out my pocket while sitting in the car. Connecting can be touchy at first. I do like the Go-tcha app and auto catch & auto spin feature, but I am going back to my old PoGo plus.

Bought this and it greatly improves the monotony of catching Pokemon. A little glitchy but overall it is a game altering device that seems to be better and less bulky then the Pokeball Plus

Great device to auto catch and auto spin stops. Great for the winter, not having to take your hands out if your pockets to play PokemonGO. Super easy to set up and charge. Highly recommend.

The product seems like a great idea if you want to auto catch pokemon and spin stops automatically. The problem I encountered was it would work fine for 10-15 minutes, but then Pokemon Go would force quit on its own and thus the whole point of this bracelet was null and void. If it worked for hours at a time catching pokemon like it promises to do I would be giving it 4 stars or better. It does work well when it's connected, just good luck keeping it connected. I was on Android 9.0 Galaxy Note 9.

I only use for auto collect on Pokestops. You can use it to automatically catch Pokémon but it will only use red balls. I just find it useful for me for the stops and it works great. Can go a couple weeks without charging also. The only thing I didn’t like is that I can’t see how much battery is left.

You get this accessory so you don't have to click and spin on Mon and stops. It's completely hands-free, so you get to play as you're driving, out having dinner, running errands, anything! Only problem is that on occasion, it will error and somehow disconnect from the game where you'll have to reconnect the device to the game. It happens to me daily, but after figuring out how to reconnect the device, it's only become a *minor* nuisance. Still beats missing out on Mon because I was preoccupied doing something else, that's for sure!

Perfect if you want to get pokestops while on a run and don’t want to have to stop and swipe on your phone as it has an auto swipe feature And even an auto catch feature A bit confusing to set up but simple after that The reason I gave it 4/5 is because the band is pretty tight fit I almost broke it trying to get it into its band.

It’s a great addition in that you can automatically spin stops and catch Pokémon! Does burn through poke balls quick though.

thing stopped working after a certain POGO patch. So it's just sitting there now. It's a niantic problem so whatever. its annoying when trying to set it up, sometimes it just disconnects on its own but when it works, it works great.

Bought 2 of these. One worked, one didn’t. I returned the one that didn’t work and ordered again hoping it would work. I didn’t so i had to return again. Sort of frustrating because i dont think they realize how this product actually works. Just because it lights up when you tap on the button doesn’t mean it’s good to go. It has to be able to connect the your phone/app, catch pokemon/spin stops and shows that by showing the animations. Like i said, you really wont know if it works until you try and connect it. I’m just glad i was able to return the ones that didn’t work with ease.

Overall a disappointment. Tried it for two solid weeks and when it worked it wouldn't pick up every stop, and you have to disable the pokemon detection on the app itself or it won't even get the stops in the area anyways. I ended up returning it because after the 2nd week it wouldn't connect and the charger is a junky thing and you cannot even tell if its connected when plugged in half the time. Just stick with the actual pokemon plus or just use adventure sync.

Got this to use with my Android phone, works great when it connects but has a lot of issues. May work better with an iPhone? I would recommend it to others so long as they know it can be fickle.

If you love POGO, it works okay. Prefer the Pokeball. It doesn't have great instructions and confusing to charge and use.

This is good if you play the game a lot. Will save you time and keep you more focus on where you are going and not looking at the phone all the time. I was able to play more in discreet. Only downside is you have to re-sync it if not used for a few days.

When working it does everything advertised. Auto catches and spins for you, the issue is it disconnects about every 10 minutes or so. Which kinda defeats the point if I have to keep pulling up my phone to reconnect it. Looking online this seems to be a known issue that hasn't been resolved for a few years and it's unlikely it will be. Stick with the Go+ or Go-tcha! Evolve.
