I purchased this jump rope about 10 weeks ago when my gym closed and I needed alternative options for for cardio workouts. The rope is quite heavy and takes a bit to get used to for timing, as it doesn't spin as quickly as a standard jump rope due to it's weight. I definitely felt a superior workout over other jump ropes in my forearms, triceps and back. It's a nice alternative to a standard jump rope, easy to pack and effective in as little as 20 minutes. Downside, I live in an urban area and have been jumping rope on city streets/sidewalks and the abrasion has been noted on the green rubber exterior of the jump rope. Nothing that causes error, but the scuffs are a bit unsightly.

The GoFit Heavy Jump Rope is a good purchase for the $ especially compared to other heavy ropes out there in the market. I have not been disappointed in the use. To be accurate - it has been only 6 times (twice x week) of use so cannot speak to its durability. I do have a slight challenge with one of the handles needing to be repeatedly tightened but it has not taken away from its performance.

Very good heavy rope. The handles are a little clunky, but overall, I would recommend this rope.

This is a great jump for workout training. What I like about this jump rope, is that you can change and alternate the length of the rope for height adjustments, and two, burn additional calories due to the weight of the rope as you jump. I really recommend this jump rope.

Bought this for my daughter who is training to be a firefighter. The weighted rope is much better than a non-weighted one. took a few tries to get the length just right, but she loves it and can take it wherever she is to work-out. A bit pricey, but seems to be good quality (although we've only had it about a month).

This jump rope is exactly as advertised. I would mention that when they say it is adjustable, they mean cutting the rope itself, so it is a permanent adjustment.

Tried a lot of different jump ropes over the years never really liked the lightweight ones. This heavy duty jump rope really works great gibing that bit of extra resistance.

This rope is 1.5lbs its plenty for a weighted rope. Good for speed jumpers as well.

It's a great weighted jump rope. It's durable and heavy duty and I have no doubt it will last.

Excellent workouts with this heavy jump rope. 10 min a day gets my heart beating and delivers my daily cardio. Beats going to the gym. No wonder boxers love to jump rope.

I bought this to stay active for at least 5 minutes a day, working my way up to more. I like it because it helps me squeeze time to exercise whenever I get the time

Great jump rope. A lot bigger than I expected, just need to use it more often

I haven't used it much, but I loved to jump rope as a kid. I'm reluctant to adjust the length, human error does exist!

The rope itself is good but the handles are light and puts a lot of stress on your wrists.

Another item added to my exercising. Brings back childhood memories.

I've used it few times but not as often as I wanted. It's too heavy for me and a little too long as being 5'2" and I'm 125 lbs.
