If you're comparing between a firetv, roku stick, or any of the other hdmi smart tv streaming sticks, look no further than this one. It works amazing, has integration with your google account so any owned movies or tv shows can be played right on the device. The remote works better than a roku remote and can adjust the volume and turn your tv on and off.

Bought this due to needing to replace a firestick. This was a great deal. Being able to link all of my content on the home screen and the ease of use is amazing. Not sure that I am on the new size difference compared to the discontinued ChromeCast. Buy its updated and a little faster then the chromecast.

Google made some good improvements to the previous 4k unit. The 4k streamer is a little faster, the volume control is on the face of the unit and now comes with an Ethernet connection. It’s also easier to hold. I’m use to the previous unit because of the placement of the buttons, but over all I like the new improved unit. Unfortunately the price is double.

We just purchased an 85" Samsung TV to use in our living room. We use a streaming service but it only works with Google TV so we had to purchase it. Honestly I was determined to buy the Google Chromecast 4K but I found that they have now launched this new product. I was watching some reviews on YouTube about this, there are good and bad comments but in general they say that the performance is better because it has more RAM and storage memory, that's why we decided to buy it. The product is not bad, it does its job, it is a little faster and more fluid than the Chromecast or the operating system of some TVs with Google TV, but I really don't know if it is worth it for the price. Sometimes we have felt that it is a little slow, honestly we are not very demanding with what we use it for our streaming services. It would be more attractive if the price were more reasonable. The setup process is honestly a bit tedious and too long, even when you set it up using your cell phone.

It works perfectly as I thought the interface is fast the control is compact and has everything i need, the apps runs good.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Google so I’m trying to make a decision for a streaming device was fairly easy to do for us. I have a few TVs that are still in good working order but are not smart TVs and this is the way to go. I love the interactive menu and ability to see all my connected smart devices like thermostats and Wi-Fi. Love Google and all I have to say is Alexa who?????? LOL

Out of all the Google cast devices I have had over the years this is the best one. I love how easily all the streaming apps integrate with the system. I had used the Apple TV device before buying the Google Streamer and it was a good device but it had a plain main menu that was just boring. Honestly if you have an android device like a Pixel phone then it's a much better option because it's easier to stream from your phone then it was on the Apple TV, unless you have an iPhone. Also my Pixel 9 phones have a built in remote that you can easily use with the Google Streamer that makes it convenient to us as well. The device can be a bit sluggish when navigating through the menu but it works well for my everyday use.

Google TV is the best streaming interface there is. And when I chose the Google TV Streamer 4K I thought it was going to be zippy in the UI. But just like any TV OS it lags. Google said the processor was multiple times more powerful & faster than the previous model. But all I could say is it really isn't. Do better Google.

I really enjoy the find my remote feature. I haven't used the other connected features like finding my phone or smart home features yet. Had a few issues with freezing and restarting, but an update my have fixed that. Stronger connection with the ethernet port over the non pro version.

Works well, looks good. It's snappy and quick, although asking Gemini to take me to certain programs is a hit or miss. The remote is intuitive and easy to use.

It delivered on what was promised. My mom needed a device to let her YouTube on her old tv. She thoroughly enjoyed this product!

So I honestly don't see the difference in quality, but I do see a difference is amount of times the connection buffers. The extra button you can assign is nice too, on the controller.

It's the best Google TV that I've tested, it works excellently and I can have all the applications I want to obtain. I recommend it.

It's the fastest android box I have ever used. The extra storage bypasses the issue with Android TV's having extremely little storage space which leads to apps crashing.

So much faster then the original 4K google Chromecast. With the extra RAM, the interface is much quicker and smoother. Highly recommended!

Love it. So easy to set up and use. Wifi or hard wired either way its fast. Love the remote finder button in the back.

It ended up being an overly expensive and much worse device than the ChromeCast Ultra. I can't watch Netflix on the Google streamer without signing into an account on the Streamer itself. When the older version, the ultra would cast Netflix without issue. Annoyances like that are constant in the streamer. It would also allow others to cast their profiles on it. With the Ultra, all I needed to was click cast, and it instantly did it with zero hassle. The setup of the streamer took way too long when all I simply wanted to do with it was watch TV. The streamer has way too many useless additions that take an hour to set up each and every one while also feeling pointless to ever use. It has been turned into a way to overly complicated device that feels pointless to use compared to the Ultra. If you want a nice simple device that works instantly go chrome cast. The Google streamer has been nothing but headaches for $100.
