This advanced feature requires a compatible display and media player for playback. Users can still capture video using HDR without HLG for viewing on standard displays and media players.
HERO13 Black’s powerful 1/1.9” image sensor lets you do more. Choose widescreen capture (16:9 aspect ratio) for full-screen playback on a TV or vertical videos (9:16 aspect ratio) for social media posting. For maximum versatility, the full frame option (8:7 aspect ratio) captures a 156° field of view that lets you crop in to create widescreen and vertical shots later.
HERO13 Black lets you choose between capturing standard video at 10-bit or Log encoding at 10-bit with GP-Log. Capable of displaying over 1 billion colors, 10-bit color delivers enhanced color depth, smoother gradations and more realism in your videos.
