How can you operate the GoPro 9 camera when it's in the U/W housing. How do you take video or still shots, when there doesn't appear to be any knobs or buttons of any kind on the housing?
There are button relays on the top and the side of the Protective Housing that will allow you to press the buttons on the GoPro. You will not be able to control the camera using the rear touch screen, but nearly all functions can be controlled using the buttons as well.
Can I plug in the cable with the protective casing with the camera. I know I could have the protective case and charge the camera at the same time.
When the GoPro is in the Protective Housing, the camera is fully enclosed. There is no way to connect a cable to the GoPro while it's in this housing.
does this housing fit on a HERO9 with the Max Lens Mod attached?
No, the HERO9 Black will not fit into the Protective Housing with the Max Lens Mod attached.
How deep can I dive with a Go pro in this housing without damaging the go pro or the housing?
This housing will protect the GoPro down to 196 feet.
The skeleton back door is that a secondary door to the normal rear door? Is two doors in one ? I have a protective case i got off Amazon. I do not want to buy another if they are the same
The skeleton door is a separate door. You can replace the back door on the Protective Housing, so you'll have the choice of using the solid/waterproof door or the skeleton door depending on how you're planning to use the camera that day.
