Yes it does....I had the same unit from best buy about 7 years ago and I never had a problem with it, till I accidentally spilt some wax from my candles on the front & side of the door & it would not raise at all, no matter what I did......so I was surprised & happy when I saw the same unit and purchased it again.....it sounds great, plays great and I am so glad I was able to purchase the same one again...

This unit requires 110v, using 220v would destroy it.

Is the unit wall mountable?
Yes, on the back of the stereo are key hole mounts that will allow this unit the be wall mounted.
