Green Border - BLU-RAY

By 2021, refugees fleeing political violence in Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen and other hot spots had been making their way into Belarus... where they were cruelly encouraged to seek sanctuary in a closed-off Poland. Agnieszka Holland's provocative drama casts an unflinching eye upon the conflict from the perspectives of a war-tossed Syrian family, the young guards under orders to shut the border, and activists out to provide aid. Jalal Altawil, Maja Ostaszewska star. 152 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack Polish; Subtitles English; featurette; theatrical trailer. In Polish with English subtitles.
