good battery for greenworks electric yard items, however it is funny that the battery and charger are sold separately and separately than the string trimmer we bought, or at least that is how we ended up buying it!

This Battery should be compatible with all 24 Volt Greenworks Tools. Seems well made and should last for years, properly handled, charged and stored out of freezing temps in the Winter time. Excellent !

To extend your run time, try using the blower setting on a lower speed when high speed is not a requirement, as blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. Alternatively additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with all G24V Greenworks batteries. It is worth noting, the higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be. For further details please give us a call at 1-888-909-6757.

Outstanding Product! Super strong battery which can be used on my weed wacker, grass blower, and cell phone. The battery has a USB receptacle on it. What a Great idea. Whoever thought this up should get a big pay raise.
