Used it several years and pretty good and cheaper than with turbo tax

I used H&R tax software for about twenty years and like it

Very deceiving! Led me to believe I was ordering a physical disc as I do yearly. Also when I ordered it online the picture advertised did NOT have “PC/Mac Download” on the package but the one I received did. Deceiving!!

No stars. Have a pic. Was already redeemed. Of no value whatsoever. Had to pay. Will never purchase any program sold this way. (I'd. Redeem a code). Ever!

I have been using H&R Block software for many years now. I like the user interface as well as the wizard. Important data from your previous year’s return is a breeze, eliminating errors and one can still easily update it. I also like the way the W2’s are handled. One can drag the pdf file from the employer into a wizard box and everything is automatically filled in. I also like the accuracy check. It is also very convenient to electronic file the return. I would love to give this a five star, but I purposely refuse to do it this year, as I need to send a message to H&R Block. I hope this gets their attention. Every year I have been saying they must improve how the software handles income from MLP’s, when schedule K is entered. The wizard is confusing when entering this data including confusing instructions and directs to a worksheet number that doesn’t exist. It doesn’t matter how complex the MLP tax laws are. The tax laws for MLP have not charged since inception. Therefore, there is no excuse to continue with this issue. It must be addressed.

Have been using this program for years and have been very happy with it. Only thing I was disappointed with is that when I bought this particular years program it wasn't clear at all that I had to download the program instead of getting an actual CD. If you aren't giving me really anything but a verification code when I buy the "program" why am i still paying the same amount as if I actually got a CD? Seems like they kind of ripped me off in my opinion. I hope if I need to open or install the program at a later date i don't have any issues.

I have used H & R Softwear for more than 20 years to prepare my income taxes and have found it to be easy to use and efficient.

Been using this same product for nearly twenty years and never fails. You still need to watch and think along the way. It is not foolproof. Always price right.

Always use H&R Block tax cut software because it is easy to use and easily transfers data from last year.

For 18 years H & R Block has been the only Tax Preparation software I have used. It's simple, easy, they check your accuracy before you file, and you learn a lot about about taxes and how to save money. If you are not using this software to prepare your taxes I will tell you right now--you are overpaying. There is no way to cover all the bases on your own. I tried TurboTax one year to compare and it was so confusing I returned it and got H & R.

Got my taxes done and filed today by myself at home using the H & R Block tax program. I have been using their software since it was called "TAX CUT" many, many years ago. It works great other than one little anomaly, for some reason kit always adds a "misc" tax called UT. I have spent hours trying to figure out what it is or get rid of it, but to no avail, but its always so low that I just pay it and move on. This year it was only $7 so I just went on and filed. I will probably do the same thing next year, just to get the taxes done and filed. I got the DELUXE because I had to file state taxes too but be aware, it cost another $19.95 to file the state taxes.

I've used this product for many years, and always works well! Would have rated it 5 stars, but starting this year the software no longer comes with a disc. I prefer to have the disc rather than just downloading the software.

This software is easy to use and for the second straight year in a row comes in cheaper than TurboTax. H&R Block as also made improvements to its usability and now is comparable to TurboTax and for a standard tax return its worth the money,

Best Buy gets 5 stars. Easy online purchase and curbside delivery was seamless. H&R Block is another story. I had problems the previous 2 years updating the software but decided to stick with it another year. That was a mistake. Problems updating again this year. I disabled all firewalls and anti-virus software but still wouldn't update. Called tech support and after waiting an hour I was told the program was being updated the following morning and my issue would be solved. That was not the case. After being on hold the following night for 1 1/2 hours and still being told it was a 50 minute wait I hung up. Turbo Tax for me from here forward.

I've been using the H&R Block products for quite a few years. They seem to work well and have pretty much all you need to work on your taxes. Since I've been using them for a while, they keep track of previously submitted tax years and carry over losses or other credits to the following year, or years, which is great since then you don't lose out on those credits. I did notice one form that was missing for last year. I'm hoping that it's included this year so that I can take advantage of another tax credit having to deal with the cost of installing a EVSE (EV charging device) that I installed previously and that the IRS re-instated the credit for. Hopefully it will be there when I do my taxes....very soon!!

Love H&R Block but didn’t like the fact that when I bought it, I asked for help from one of your employees and told them I wanted that one in disc and took her word for it when she gave it to me..paid for it and put it on my computer desk till I went to use it 2 days ago. When I opened the box, there was NO DISC, it was a download and I DONT USE AND DIDN’T WANT the download. When we took it back yesterday I was told there was nothing they could do about it, that I had to keep it, even though I DIDN’T EVEN USE IT...so I’m out 37.00 and change because your employee gave me the wrong thing!! What a poor way to do business. At 72 you actually trust people again, but I never will again in the gastonia, nc store. Now I have to go out and buy another one and I’m on a fixed income!

Good product. I've used H&R Block for years to do my taxes. I've always bought the CD though, in case I need it in the future. I avoided the digital download version and bought this one, which was pick up at store. Unfortunately, it still didn't include the CD, just an activation key. Can't seem to find a CD version anywhere this year.

Great price for a great product. I've been using HR BLock/TaxCut for years and it's always been accurate and easy to use. The "interview" process works well. The price includes 1 download of a state program and also includes 5 e-files.

This product is very easy to use, reliable and always updated with the latest changes. It has been my choice for taxes for the last ten years. I have never been disappointed with this product.
