There are not many choices if you can only fit a 24 inch range in your kitchen... even fewer if you must use electricity. This was one of only ~3 models that I could select from, and feel it's the best one overall. I chose this model primarily because i wanted to get away from the exposed metal elements on my old 24 inch Tappan stove. The safest - induction heating (heat generated by magnetic field) isn't available in this class/size, so went for the glass top with elements below. likewise, inside the oven the bottom element is covered by ceramic steel which i find easier to clean that trying to avoid the exposed heating element. That cover serves a function of "steam" cleaning, which essentially is a small basin that you fill with a small amount of water. The inside top (broil) element is still exposed, but i don't think I'll ever need to manually clean the inside "ceiling". A trade-off for glass covered burner elements is it takes longer to heat up, so it adds a few more minutes to cooking breakfast eggs/etc. As others mentioned the bottom drawer isn't nearly as sturdy as it could be in this price range, but it should suffice if I'm careful and don't overload it. Lastly the stainless steel quality isn't the same quality is the matching Haier refrigerator, as fingerprints and marks show up much more easily than the (fantastic) type covering the fridge (I have both appliances). I opted for geek squad coverage, delivery, and haul-away. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware my current model was hard-wired into bx cable rather than use an electrical outlet... so the delivery team had to make 2 trips & come back after I had an electrician install an outlet. Otherwise delivery was on-time and workers were in and out quickly. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, but do feel there's still room for improvement on future models.

This is my first glass top stove and it's taken a little bit to understand how to use it. Replaced most of my ancient cookware since their bottoms were no longer flat. I clean the top after every use with vinegar and use lower temps when i start cooking building to higher temps. So far so good. I'm pleased with this purchase.
