Pretty unspectacular for all of the hype. This is just HBO Go by another name, with additional content through various contracts signed with business partners. Nice free trial, if you're likely to hang onto HBO for online viewing and do not have it through a TV provider, then by all means go ahead. $15 bucks is steep for any streaming app, and given that they are owned by AT&T who completely botched the Direct TV Now service through greed and general misfiring with consumers, I wouldn't really recommend going beyond the trial for that price.

HBO Max, the newest streaming service from Warner Bros owner AT&T, is officially here. While its original shows don't exactly have us pumped about the service just yet, the amount of cool older stuff that's available to stream here definitely does. Every HBO show is here, from older series like The Larry Sanders Show right up to the currently-airing Mark Ruffalo miniseries I'm Sure This Much is True. The service also features collections themed around HBO itself, DC Comics, Studio Ghibli, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, TCM (fancy watching Gone With The Wind?) and Looney Tunes, among others. The best streaming services compared The best Netflix shows The best Disney Plus shows In terms of movies, the service is extremely impressive, with 2019's Joker, a payload of Batman films and the complete set of Harry Potter movies, among many cinema classics. Older TV is one of its selling points, too, with every episode of Friends, The Big Bang Theory and The Fresh Prince of Bel Air available to stream now.

HBO Max has lots of movies and original programing along with a lot of the series that made HBO the number one premium channel in the United States. I received this 30 day free trail with a recent purchase and after the first few days I was hooked and became an HBO Max subscriber. The Warner Brothers file Library is extensive and ATT is putting a lot of classics on HBO Max. I would really recommend you give HBO Max a try and you may want to add HBO Max to your streaming services.

NOT available on Roku yet. Works for Android TV, Xbox app, and Windows 10 app. This is a good service with variety of content for all ages. I found Classic Looney Tunes cartoon shorts NOT found on DVD or Blu-ray! There are shows and movies geared for adult audiences too such as Westworld. Parents might wish to set up parental controls for children. Enjoyed the free 1 month trial, and allowed my payment to begin the second month of viewing so far.

Got this tablet for my wife. She wanted to upgrade from her Ipad Mini 4. She's very happy with it. Beautiful screen. Thin and light. While not the latest Apple processor, it is still plenty fast for her. Good wifi. Fingerprint sensor works great. Lots of storage at 128GB, but still wish Apple would get off their high horse and add a micro USB slot for expandable storage. Good price for an Ipad. Not a fan of the convoluted and confusing process I have to go thru to add my wife's music collection to it. Not intuitive at all. The 3 out of 5 bars below that I've given this Ipad is all related to Apple's confusing ecosystem for adding files to the tablet. The tablet itself is not difficult at all to use.

This was a free 30 day trial and I think it will be part of my DirecTV package from there. It is a good strategy for HBO to throw their hat into the ring with an expanded streaming service. While the catalog is vast, I'm still waiting for content that will distinguish HBO Max from it's predecessors like HBO, HBO Go and HBO Now. So far there is a bit of of a feeling that I had ways to access all of this content before.

HBO MAX free for a month after buying a WB game, i.e The Witcher 3. I use this service for a week trial and it had some good movies/shows, but honestly most of the stuff you fin don here , you can find elsewhere too. If you like Friends sure get it. For me not a big Friends guy! But I do like that i can try for a full month.

Decided to give it a try and might actually upgrade to the full service! The movies available on here are AWESOME! I’ve seen It: Chapter II which took 3 tries to get through, but it was ok lol. Saw “Doctor Sleep,” the sequel to “The Shining” which was FANTASTIC! Lastly, I got to see a childhood fav “DROP DEAD FRED!” I totally forgot how hilarious that movie was! It has a fantastic variety of film and TV! Seems to be well worth the price! Definitely enjoying the free month! Thank you!!!!

So far I love this streaming service I just wish it was available on Roku devices and don't know if it'll ever be so right now I watch it on our AndriodTV and my PS4. Love that it has all the Seasons of Big Bang Theory and Friend as well as a bunch of great movies and DC shows and movies

so, i was not gonna subscribe to HBO but since this came for 30 day free trial - it's good. I am thinking to cancel it before expiration but weill see... The thing is - you need time to watch and though we are on quarantine - i find it hard to find the free time to watch HBO.. but, it is great that i could try to see if i need to extend the subscription...

It’s another streaming service, i went ahead and used the free trial I had gotten from Bestbuy to watch the new SCOOB movie for free. Other than that, I didn’t really find myself using the service that much. For 15 a month there isn’t really much to watch after your free trial is up, at least to my taste. Wasn’t for me, but still 5 stars for allowing me to try it and i would recommend the free trial to a friend to try it out themselves.

HBO Max, HBO's entry into the streaming wars, is a slick app chock-full of popular TV shows and movies. It's got HBO's entire catalog, along with favorites such as Friends, Rick and Morty, the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter movies, and almost every Studio Ghibli film -- making it a solid streaming collection for adults and children, with the ability to control ratings on kids' profiles better than most other services.

Not much outside of what is typically on hbo. I guess if you like the hbo shows and want to see some decent movies, this is a good choice. Just get it with an hbo subscription. This was a free month trial with another purchase, so no complaints about it.

Not sure what the big deal is. It's just HBO trying a different approach to their expensive streaming service. The biggest issue I see with all these streaming services is why pay for them all every month. Watch what you want, cancel and then resubscribe when more of what you want to see is available. You can't possibly watch everything on every service unless you have nothing but free time. It's always good to have a variety but, at the rate of streaming services, you are getting to a point where you are starting to pay more than you intended. Nothing wrong with the service and, roku will sadly remove older HBO apps soon but, not sure there is a justification for the cost per month for this.
