Heliopan - 58mm Multi-Coated Circular Polarizer Filter

Just imagine capturing high-quality, professional-grade photographs with enhanced contrast and color saturation. The 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter, SH-PMC 16 Layer Super Hard Multi-Coated, is your key to achieving this. This durable and versatile filter is a must-have tool for both color and black and white photography. Unlike colored filters, this circular polarizer filter maintains the original colors in your photographs while effectively increasing contrast and color saturation. It works by reducing the blush gray haze caused by scattered sunlight, which often overlays all colors in your image. This is achieved through its multi-coated layer that minimizes reflections and glare, thereby improving image quality and contrast. When light falls at an approximate angle of 35 degrees onto a reflecting surface like water, glass, or plastic, it becomes reflected and polarized. With the use of this circular polarizer filter, these reflections are absorbed, allowing the true colors to reach your film. The result Water surfaces appear transparent, and clouds are more saturated. The light loss of this polarizer filter varies between 1 and 1.5 F stops, which can be manually or automatically corrected depending on your camera type. The filter is mounted in a calibrated rotating ring, making it easy to set the desired position and effect. This circular polarizer filter is also equipped with a second component, a 1/4 wave plate in its construction. This allows the polarized light to rotate and pass without interruption through the measuring system, providing accurate measurements. This makes it an ideal choice for camera systems where the built-in light measuring system uses light that has passed through the mirror via a beam splitter. In addition, this circular polarizer filter is recommended for use with auto-focus lenses in video cameras. However, it's important to avoid overheating the polarizing filter. In essence, the 58mm Circular Polarizer Filter, SH-PMC 16 Layer Super Hard Multi-Coated, is an essential tool for photographers aiming to capture images with improved quality, contrast, and saturation.
