Impoverished noble Peter Plunkett (Peter O'Toole) opted to try and save his ancestral Irish castle by converting it into a B&B, and marketing it as haunted-courtesy of the cheesy scare effects attempted by his hapless retinue. Unfortunately, their efforts only succeeded in annoying the dwelling's real ghosts (Daryl Hannah, Liam Neeson)... with some funny repercussions for the American guests (Steve Guttenberg, Beverly D'Angelo)!
