I bought this sound bar a while ago for the TV in my office. I don't even really watch the TV in there that often, but when I do the sound is decent. However, the voice that announces "Power On. HDMI ARC. Subwoofer Paired" EVERY SINGLE TIME you turn it on, while mildly annoying at first, eventually gets to the level of sheer TORTURE! It's especially annoying now that we have a new baby, and there is no way to turn the voice off or control the voice volume. Don't believe another review here that claims you can hit the Play/Pause button 8 times on the remote to turn it off. That doesn't work! I would return it if I could, but it's been too long.

if I still have the box for this, I will return it right away. The sound quality is garbage, and the system sound and system voice are even annoying. Even worse you cannot turn off the system voice prompt. So, every time you turn it on/off or connecting with the sub-woofer or lower the volume you have to hear the annoying system voice. I only wanted a soundbar that could connect easily with my Hisense TV but this wouldn't even connect. Do not buy this as you are better off buying VIZIO with same price but far superior sound quality and control options. And yes, even though it comes at an affordable price it has the quality of those soundbar sold at the dollar store. I am open to returning this item if not having the box which I thrashed to early wouldn't matter.

Power on and press "Play/Pause" button 8 times continuously to enter the setting menu. 2. Use volume up and down to select the "Beep" menu item and press "Play/Pause" button to turn it off.

defective, had to be replaced and it took about 3 weeks for the replacement! have to register on-line and I had to contact them from 2-13-24 til 3-8-24 to get registered!
