This fit the bill for a bedroom TV. Wanted smart TV so wouldnt have all the wires for streaming with an appletv. Expectations weren't overly high for the price i was paying. I grabbed the box at the store myself, and didn't really inspect it. When i got it home to open it and set up, saw some discoloration on the box that looked like a water stain. When i opened the box, there was BLACK MOLD on the inside where the water stain is! Not cool when buying electronics. I set up the tv to see if it worked and it does work as expected. I like the Roku TV interface, and we've used chromecast, roku, and appletv in the past. I'm assuming the tv is just cheap and considering returning for a non-smart tv and buying another external streaming device. The water damage and ensuing mold on the box just has me put off of the whole experience . Come on, Best Buy

My moms tv died. I bought this one as a surprise. The roku system is good. For the price very good tv with a ton of features. Everytime I come over I find out it has a new feature.

Bought the tv to replace our old 21 inch bedroom TV .What a difference, the Hisence 40 inche smart TV has vibrant color, adequate sound and was very easy to set up. Remember for the smart connection to work , you must connect to cable first if you use cable. There is no need to use the roku remote if you are using your cable remote. You can change the opening screen to TV in settings so the roku remote will only be used for streaming . The only suggestion I would make is if you are buying this or any TV at a Best Buy store., is to have someone in the store turn on the TV before you take it home to make sure the LCD screen is not damaged. I learned this the hard way. I brought the TV home only to theTV which came in a sealed box was broken. I had to take it back and exchange it. This time I had it tested so I would not experience this problem again.

The Hisense /Roku tv has easy setup instructions and doesn't take very much time too. The size and price are good quality. Better than other brands that cost more at the same size and don't have all the extra features. The picture is bright and clear. I like the fact that when I watch the tv there isn't a distracting glare, making it easy for the eyes. Overall it more than met my expectations.

Great picture, easy to navigate, top rated TV in china. You may not recognize the name but don’t let the price fool you. This is a great set and having Roku built in blows away all other “smart” TV’s. Roku work!

Surprisingly good picture and viewing angles for budget tv. Roku and apps are a plus. On the other hand built in Roku media player sucks, will not play DTS, get Plex channel and all your mkv dts goodness will be there. Remote is minimalistic (Roku). Good 2nd bedroom set. One thing in mind you WILL need internet connection and roku account before you can use this tv, it will not let you go past roku account setup and activation. If you are thinking of getting it to your cabin in the woods, better activate at home.

I bought this tv after being bombarded by local internet and satellite providers. The ROKU sparked my interest and so I bought it for the discounted pricing. It was VERY easy to set up and the picture is pretty darn good! I am using it in a small waiting room and in front of a large glass window. The picture is very good and the streaming of the free programming is sufficient for my needs at far less than I would have paid for a subscription to Comcast or the likes of Dish.

This is my second Hisense TV and I am very impressed with the quality of this brand. I bought this Roku TV for our living room and have been very impressed with the quality of the picture and the great entertainment selection. It's really easy to find exactly what you are looking for and you don't have to bother with selecting the right input for whatever device you have connected. The setup was super easy and the remote couldn't be simpler. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

Pro's : picture and sound are fine. Roku apps work great. Price was very good. Lightweight. Con's : It only comes with a Roku style remote. When the set is powered on you must then select an input or roku app. If you're using for over the air or cable channels you can't go direct to a channel, you must scan one at a time up and down. If you're using a cable or satellite box you can't just turn the tv on, you must then select an input with the roku style remote upon powering it up. If that remote goes missing it will be a real problem. Bottom line. I would buy this for myself but would NOT recommend for someone who is technically inept. This needs several refinements for future models.

Nice TV for the price. Would highly recommend for the added bonus of Roku TV. Gave it 4 stars because the volume doesnt always come on when the TV is turned on. I switch it off and on again when this happens and its fine.

What drew me to the Hisense TV. was the apps that were available through the Roku TV. It was easy to set up and to navigate. The only issue I have is with the remote.

Hisense makes a pretty good TV. I purchased a few in the past and saw this new model with Roku built in. So far I have been very happy with the TV. The picture is really good and the functionality of the Roku with all the built in channels is great. If your cable goes down you have hundreds of online channels to get you through the outage. If you are looking for a great 40 inch TV that might be used for a bedroom or secondary space I highly recommend this model.

We have only had this TV for a few months and so far we couldn't be happier. Pricing of this TV compared to a 40" TV and a Roku Box is much cheaper. Picture is great and navigation is simple. Initial set up and connection to our WiFi was super easy. We have used it quite a bit with Netflix and listen to Pandora numerous hours a day and its great. I was initially concerned about how basic the remote is but was happy with how well it works. My only complaint about the remote would be the 4 preset buttons...so far I have not found a way to reprogram them to 4 channels I would actually use (but I haven't spent too much time trying to figure it out yet).

This was our first smart TV and so far my wife and I have been very impressed. The TV itself has a great picture and the built-in Roku has been great for watching videos on Amazon, Netflix and YouTube. The ability to tune into iHeart Radio is another option that we use regularly. These apps are a bit nicer to work with than the ones on our Sony Blu-ray player that we have connected to our older TV.

Loving our new TV so far. Picture is great, size is great for our living room, and we love having the Roku built right into the TV.

I can't say enough good things about this TV. It was super easy to install, especially for someone like me who is not very tech savy. it basically set itself up. Tons of great channels and aps to choose from. yes, you need a paid subscription to some like netflix but there are 100's of free good ones too. The built in Roku is awesome. Picture quality is great, sound is good. If you're picky about sound you can easily install a soundbar to it. The price is right at an amazing bargain for this smart TV.

I purchased this TV for Christmas. Less than $300 for Smart 40". The reviews were positive so I went for it, replacing a dated 32" Big Box. Darn! that old TV was heavy! Anyway this TV is excellent! Very nice expensive looking/feeling glass base! A few things tho, I didn't know I needed an HDMI cord to run from my wireless ATT Uverse receiver... good thing I had an extra one...a note from the manufacturer would've saved me some time. I guess EVERYONE but me knows this stuff!! And then another issue was the CC wouldn't work. Apparently when you use an HDMI cord it doesn't get passed thru to the TV unless you program it thru your ATT Uverse remote. Again, I guess EVERYONE else knows all this. Basically the TV has an amazing picture and I love it but it's not totally plug n play. I am getting used to using my smartphone to view Youtube vids on it, and that's been very cool as well. Although there is a learning curve to this TV (maybe all smart TV's?) I highly recommend this one. PS I'am a tech savvy 50 Year old -my wife told me to put this in-
