Highly recommended this tv. It’s a great middle-tier option if you’re stuck between a cheaper ($350 or less) and a more Expensive tv ($650 +). It’s bright and has great picture quality. The colors are vibrant. Blacks are actually black and allow for great contrast. The software is good, but a bit slow at times. I think a recent update fixed those issues. I’ve watched many 4k movies and shows and haven’t seen any obvious issues or concerns. You definitely need high-speed internet if you’re going to watch 4k content. Overall, a great TV.

A great TV on a budget! Picture quality and ability to adjust settings to your liking are awesome. Google TV software is still buggy at times but I'm confident it will get better with updates (it's google!). Not an OLED, but the Mini LED tech is compelling and puts out a nice HDR picture. Gaming at 144hz is a sweet feature at this price point. Sound is great as well with the built in Subwoofer. Overall am very happy with the purchase! Our last Hisense lasted many years and is still going strong. Bonus: taking the shipping screen protector off was super satisfying!

I was originally going to pick a sony tv that was another $400-$500 more than this one, but i was absolutely blow away by how clear this hisense looked. This tv looks BRIGHT and has amazing black levels for its price range. This tv is probably the most tv anyone needs. It does 120hz gaming and up to 240hz for pc gaming at 1920x1080! My PS5 looks absolutely amazing on this tv, the colors are so vivid. Movies that support dolby vision seriously look better than the movies. Im a huge movie buff and i can honestly say my movie watching experience has increased by tenfold with this TV. You wont go wrong buying this!

This TV really surprised me, not knowing much about Hisense brand, i did almost 2 weeks of research and reviews, on this TV. I got mostly positive reviews on this tv. it was a choice between this tv or the U8, i concluded it wasn’t a big difference between the two, so i went for the one that had a good price. I'm glad i made that choice, because the tv is a great looking Tv. It has nice features and my PS5 looks great, after hours of trying to figured out how to get the 120hz for the PS5, when i figured it out, it looks amazing, it looked amazing even before I figured out the 120hz deal

This TV is fantastic for Gaming, Movies and OS interface powered by google is very intutitive and easy to use. I got this TV for our Gamiing/Movie Space and I already have a $2000 LG OLED that deffinately produces the best color like no other panel, but under $1500 this Hisense is by far the best thing out there.

This Hisense 55” TV gives a nice picture with good color. It’s a good value compared to major brands. Set up was easy. It’s my first smart TV and it’s great having so many free channels, even some news channels. I’m disappointed with the narrow viewing angle. If I’m not in front of the TV and viewing it from the side, the colors are extremely washed out. I think that’s the case with any of the new TVs now unless you can afford OLED. However, OLED TVs have their own drawbacks like more prone to burn-in, not as bright, and more expensive. Considering those things, I’m happy with this TV because the only negative is the narrow viewing angle. Actually, there is one other thing, but not a huge issue. I decided to keep Xfinity but change packages. They told me that set up with them is easy if you have a Samsung or LG TV. Hisense was more complicated and I had a bit of trouble getting Xfinity set up but once it was done, all is good. I also bought a Samsung sound bar on sale since the newer TVs now have the sound output on the back of the TV. The sound seemed fine with just the TV, but it’s easier to hear speaking with the sound bar and music is even better. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase!

When it comes to TV for gaming, it has always been very difficult to find an affordable option, the SAMSUNG QLEDs are too expensive, well here they have one of the best TVs on the market, the Hisense U7 is one of the best TVs and offers a variety of features that make it a difficult option to pass up, such as 144HZ refresh rate, HDR, motion rate of 480, QLED led panel type, 4K (2160p) and best of all the speaker that is integrated into the panel from the back, you don't even need a sound bar, this tv has it all for 479 dollars andddd you get the 2k NBA Kobe Bryant Mamba Edition for free and 2 more items

Great TV! The picture is very clear and very crisp. The high refresh rate is great for gaming. If you’ve never owned a really high quality TV this will definitely take your viewing to the next level. I’ve only found one thing I don’t like, the button on the TV itself. To turn off or change inputs without the remote you have to push the button to cycle through the options, then stop on your selection, then press and hold the button to select that choice. It can be finicky and I prefer the way my old tv operated for this.

If you’re after a bright, vibrant, gaming‑focused 55″ TV with top‑tier specs at a mainstream price, the Hisense U7 is a standout pick. Its Mini‑LED QLED panel, high refresh rate, HDMI 2.1 support, and robust HDR suite make it a great value. That said, expect: • Watch angle limitations—best for a center‑focused viewing setup. • Potential minor QC hiccups—consider an extended warranty or strong return policy. Overall, for the price, it punches well above its weight—a compelling choice for gamers and movie lovers alike.

Back in France I have a $1200 OLED TV, but when I came to the US I didn’t want to spend that much money, since I was only going to stay for a couple of years here, so I bought this, at the time, $600 TV. Man I was not disappointed. Great sound and image, specially if you can get the room dark enough. Good built quality and pretty slim and thin bezels. Soon I’ll be going back to France and having to sell it, and I’m sure the buyer will be satisfied.

Decent 4k Mini-LED Pros: good sound, good picture, good SDR, variable refresh rate for consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series X users) Cons: Bad and slow user interface can’t bypass HDR content on certain applications, google operating software is slow and buggy, can’t get access to full features without signing in with your google account, once signed in to google if you log out you’ll lose the extra features mentioned. This is just a personal gripe but might be fine for others, brightness was lack luster for me. All in all I give 4/5 for price to performance. Decent tv flawed by the software.

I came to discover hisense 2 years ago and dipped my leg a little further in this time and boy was I not disappointed. I had heard a lot about different screens and took that into consideration in this purchase. I just wanted a TV that can run HDR for my PS5 but the first thing I did when I saw it came with Dolby Vision and Sound was to rewatch Dune, Part 1. I thought that it was a beautiful movie in the theater but on this tv, I was blown away once again. I noticed my sand than I thought was there and, just like jumping into my first high quality headphones, noticed new details i hadn't seen the first time.

Excellent performance and easy to use. Been using as a gaming tv runs 4 k 120 refresh well. Takes only a few moments to set it up as defaults at lower settings.

The picture quality and sound of this TV are amazing. It has taken me a little to adjust to the Google TV interface as my experience has been with Roku up until this purchase. Other than it taking a little longer for the TV to actually start (this is due to the Google TV app), I really love this TV. I took a pic of an image on they TV but it does not do it justice. The image really pops and is extermely vibrant along with truly impressive resolution.

Makes all my favorite movies better! Plus the video game aspect is awesome! Who needs a gaming monitor when you get a tv that does the same

I recently purchased this TV, and overall, I'm thrilled with its performance. The game mode is fantastic, and the panel quality is impressive. However, I encountered an issue with the unit I received - the gray uniformity is quite poor, making it somewhat challenging to overlook. Unfortunately, since I live an hour away from the nearest Best Buy, returning it is not a convenient option for me. Despite this setback, the other features of the TV are outstanding, and if it weren't for the gray uniformity issue, it would be a perfect fit for my entertainment setup.

You can’t beat this tv at this price point. OLED is too expensive and this is the next best thing.

I researched the U7 before I bought it, set it up at home, loved it... then watched more videos about it and loved it even more. It's rated highly, best bang for the buck by far, and I agree wholeheartedly. I had to drive 40 miles up to Gainesville, FL to get mine because they were sold out here, but it was worth the trip. BTW, i had bought a Samsung Chrystal 4K two weeks before, but returned to buy the Hisense, and SO glad I did!
