Q: Can I connect bluetooth headphones to this tv?
A: The TV does have bluetooth support, but the bluetooth functionality also is tied behind some of the data-harvesting features like a built-in camera, microphone, and a specific privacy setting where you must manually opt-out of selling your personal data.
A: I've had mine for about 6 weeks. There has been both a firmware, and a software update a couple of weeks ago that has solved many issues. Be advised, do the firmware update by downloading it to a flash drive from Hisense website, and not through the system in the tv. I tried both ways, and the manual install works, the system update did not. I was experiencing frozen pictures occasionally, and factory resets would not work. I was in touch with Hisense tech support a few times, and finally got someone who knew his stuff. He told me to do it manually. Maybe the initial updates have solved this, I don't know, I've been glitch free ever since.
Q: The u8k has a native refresh rate of 144hz. Why does best buy say 120hz?
A: Best Buy might have accidentally referenced a previous model with that 120 refresh rate. It does have 144. I game and game mode is awesome!
A: The camera is located on the bottom of the television by the power LED, as well as a microphone with on-off switch.
Q: Does this TV support all of the ps5?
A: Yes, I own previous year models, U8H & U7H 4K@120Hz. PS5 streams 4K@60Hz native up to 120Hz variable but there's supposed to be an update to 144Hz variable which both this years U8K & U7K support. H=2022, K=2023
Q: Does this tv work for wall mounting ? Or are the legs not removable?
A: Yes you can mount this on a wall. It needs a 400 x 300 mm VESA wall mount bracket. It comes with metal legs that need to be installed if you want to use them.
A: The Hisense 55U8K TV measures 33.5 inches between stands. So a 34-inch width surface should be sufficient for placement.
Q: Does this TV work with alexa echo?
A: Yes it does. Setup is very confusing and buggy, using an app called Brilliant as well. It turns the tv off and on properly but I haven't tried any other commands yet.
