A: Hey hisense.... Stop being lazy and stop avoiding these highly relevant questions! Tell your customers WHEN will the firmware updates WE NEED become available to us!!!
A: Hisense does not pay big money to BestBuy for primo product placement like LG, Samsung, Sony. This saves a lot of money from a marketing standpoint that can then be passed on to the consumer. I noticed a bit of eye roll when I said the U8H was as close to OLED quality without being OLED; but I don’t blame them, they’re just doing their jobs and trying to sell a higher price product.
Q: WHat's the distance between the two Feet?

A: It's always going to be compressed Dolby Digital Plus Atmos, lossy Only a true 4k Blu-ray player will give you 7.1 atmos lossless or uploading using Plex server which is still just downloaded 4k Blu-ray content.
Q: Does the U8H 55 inch have ATSC 3.0 like the U7H?
A: Yes it does. "Hisense is offering ATSC 3.0 support in three of the four ULED 4K TVs it’s showing at CES this week: U9H, U8H and U7H."
A: I live in a small apartment and sit a few feet away also, and upgraded from TCL 6 series from a few years ago. First thing I watched was upscaled tv program from the 70s. It wasn't even in 16:9 format, and I was blown away by the picture. Most of the content we watch is 1080p or less, mostly bought the TV for PS5. Am glad to say all content looks light years better than old TV, which was very good in its own right,
A: No it does NOT (as of 10/22/22). Just off phone with Hisense support and was also informed Airplay will be added in an update by end of month (October 2022). The manual (page 26) and the Hisense website FAQ for the U8H say it’s available so I imagine the feature was planned when the materials were created but delayed for reasons known only to the engineering team.

Game Mode Pro optimizes input lag and response time. It supports a lower lag rate by speeding up the connection from your console to the TV.
