Needed something to store papers. This is a good size and not too heavy. Honeywell makes safes so I thought the lock & key would be adequate. I like that its fire retardent. Would have liked if it was waterproof - but it's not a big problem.

This fit my daughters surface and iPad mini perfectly! There’s still room for a bank card and other items. Works great that you can tether it so it’s not easy for someone to just walk away with the safe.

This is an excellent size for any laptop, though i currently use it for small valuables at home. Key system and cable for locking are very easy to use.

Was initially concerned if it would be big enough to store my valuables and was pleasantly surprised. Simple to use. Like the security feature as well. Definitely recommend.

Needed s fire resistant box for personal documents - Best Buy had this and I bought it. Very sturdy - I feel very confident it will do the job of keeping documents secure. big enough to put a few laptops in too. highly recommend.

Ordered ship to store due to internet search lowest price. First order received was damaged. Manufacturers packaging offers no protection to security boxes for shipping. Boxes seem to be easily dented for 'security boxes'. Best Buy replaced the damaged order without issue. Second order was also dented, but was minor and did not impact box function and I wanted the box. I don't think, after getting the box, that I would order this item knowing what it is now, even though I am keeping it. Also note the box comes with one piece of thin foam which covers the bottom. I was disappointed that the box does not have foam filling the inside to help secure items. Four layers of foam would allow the user to fashion the inside to specific needs. How much does a piece of foam cost? The handle is plastic and only half a handle at that. I expect it may not hold up - it looks all right in the pictures but is not substantial relative to the box. Information with the box indicates 'Honeywell' name used under license and has nothing to do with the manufacturing of this security box. I feel like a little bit of bait and switch there.

nice ,reliable deterrent. its not going to stop a determined thief, but it will hinder someone, or make it impossible to steal without your knowing.

Very good, lightweight box that is big enough to fit a standard size piece of paper or folder full of documents, which was my primary reason for purchase.

Just what I needed to keep important papers in one spot and safe. Large size fit legal papers and plenty of room for all my needs.

This is excellent for my college student, he is able to secure his laptop along with any important documents.

Very nice product. I like the lining inside that helps cushion the items and keeps them from getting scratched.

What can I say it is a lock box it works like advertised good for a small amount of papers.

It's good enough for what i wanted it for but it has a cheap Lock on it and a cheap plastic handle on it thar can brake or melt plus it's heavy, which is a good thing. It all depends on what you want it for.

Not the most secure box but works for what we wanted. It was purchased to hold documents, laptop, etc. for my son in his dorm room at college.

Very good safe! Spacious, solid metal (not plastic, except the handle.) Very good that it comes with a metal cord to chain it to something, be it somewhere in your home or in your vehicle. Highly recommended.

It's kind of big. It can definitely fit my laptop and external hard drives in it and maybe a few other things. It has a significant gap at the opening therefore it doesn't seal so I'm not sure how much I trust the "fireproof" claim. At least I can keep everything important in it so I could hopefully grab everything at once if I need to.

This large fireproof security box is ideal for the documents I want to protect, consequently, I cancelled paying for a safe deposit box at my local bank.
