The Sidekick Passive DI Box is designed to connect compatible instruments and audio sources directly to a mixing console through a balanced XLR output. Featuring a 1/4 in. TS input and XLR3M output configuration, it uses an isolation transformer to convert a guitar-level signal to a line-level signal suitable for balanced transmission over long cable runs and audio snakes. Compatible with electric guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, pedal effects, effects processors, and other electronic musical instruments with mono phone outputs, it also includes a switchable instrument/line level throughput and a ground lift switch to support integration with compatible audio systems in live sound, rehearsal, recording, and music production environments.
