I am extremely disappointed with this e-bike. I purchased the Hover Heart 20” Fat Tire Electric Bike on credit, expecting to receive a reliable, fully functional electric bike. Unfortunately, this has been one of the worst purchases I have ever made. The bike arrived with multiple quality issues, and I was not even able to properly ride it after assembly. I strongly do not recommend this bike to anyone considering buying it. 1. Damaged and Deformed Front Fork During assembly, I discovered that the front fork, where the front wheel is supposed to be installed, was deformed and not straight. This immediately raised serious concerns about the bike’s safety and manufacturing quality. A front fork is a critical component of any bicycle. It should arrive straight, properly aligned, and ready for safe installation. Receiving a bike with a deformed front fork is completely unacceptable, especially when purchasing a new product. 2. Cracked Rear Reflector The rear reflector was already cracked when I received the bike. This was another clear sign that the product was either poorly manufactured, poorly packaged, or not properly inspected before being shipped. When you pay for a new bike, you expect every component to arrive in good condition—not damaged right out of the box. 3. Error E15 – The Bike Would Not Work After Assembly The biggest problem happened immediately after I finished assembling the bike. I could not ride it because it displayed an E15 error. Instead of being able to enjoy my new electric bike, I was forced to deal with a malfunctioning product from the very beginning. I had to pedal manually, and even then, the chain kept slipping off while riding. This is completely unacceptable for an e-bike that is advertised as having a 750W motor, 1500W peak power, and a long riding range. I purchased an electric bike to have a reliable means of transportation, not to spend my time troubleshooting error codes and dealing with mechanical problems. 4. Chain Keeps Slipping Off The chain repeatedly came off while I was trying to ride the bike. This made the bike frustrating to use and raised additional concerns about its reliability and safety. A bicycle should be properly assembled and adjusted before being sold. Having the chain come off during normal riding is not something I expected from a brand-new bike. 5. Poorly Positioned Kickstand – Eventually Broke The kickstand was installed too close to the pedal. Because of its poor positioning, it interfered with the pedal area. Eventually, the kickstand simply broke. This is another example of poor design and poor assembly quality. The kickstand should have been positioned correctly from the factory and should not interfere with the pedals or break during normal use. 6. Not Worth the Money – Especially When Purchased on Credit What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I purchased this bike on credit. I am now paying for a product that arrived with multiple defects and that I could not properly use from the beginning. I expected a new e-bike to be reliable, safe, and ready to ride. Instead, I received a bike with a deformed front fork, a cracked reflector, an E15 error, a chain that keeps slipping off, and a kickstand that eventually broke. The advertised specifications and attractive pictures do not matter if the actual bike cannot function properly. Final Verdict I do not recommend this e-bike at all. Based on my experience, the quality control is unacceptable, and the bike was not ready for safe and reliable use when it arrived. If you are thinking about buying this bike, I strongly recommend looking at other options and choosing a more reliable brand. Do not make the same mistake I did, especially if you are planning to purchase it on credit. I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase and regret buying it.
