This kit is an indispensable asset for both amateur and seasoned photographers who are venturing into the realm of slow shutter photography - a genre that's gaining immense popularity for its ability to artistically capture the world in motion. The kit includes the PROND EX 8, PROND EX 64, and PROND EX 1000 filters, each serving a unique purpose in controlling light entry to your camera's sensor. With these filters, you can effortlessly achieve a range of creative effects, from ethereal motion blur to crisp, clear subjects set against a beautifully soft background.Crafted with precision, the PROND EX filters boast HOYA's exclusive clear optical glass, which is enhanced with a metallic ACCU-ND coating on both sides. This cutting-edge technology ensures an almost uniform reduction of light across the entire visible and infrared spectrum, delivering a truly neutral color balance without any discernible color cast. The robust, thick aluminum frame of each filter is meticulously designed to prevent any light leakage, ensuring accurate exposure and consistent color balance in your images. Whether you're shooting stills or HDSLR video, these filters are engineered to meet the demands of professional content creation.PROND EX 8 (3-Stops) is your go-to filter for shooting with fast lenses at wide apertures during daylight, ideal for achieving a shallow depth of field in portraiture. It's also perfect for capturing night trails, fireworks, and lightning with a clear subject against a dreamy backdrop.PROND EX 64 (6-Stops) allows you to convey motion with a smooth blur effect, an artistic touch that's unattainable with camera settings alone. It's recommended for a variety of scenes, including dynamic landscapes, urban snapshots, and video production.PROND EX 1000 (10-Stops) transforms your photography by enabling a surreal, fantastical look with its significant 10-stop light reduction capability. It's extensively used for softening seascape waves, adding cloud motion in street photography, and removing crowds from architectural shots. In video production, ND filters are irreplaceable for achieving natural motion and cinematic quality, especially in challenging lighting conditions. The PROND EX 8, PROND EX 64, and PROND EX 1000, individually or in combination, allow for precise control over shutter speed to match the frame rate, even when filming in log modes with high base ISOs.For photographers seeking to tailor their images further, combining PROND EX filters can yield additional densities, such as ND500 (PROND EX 8 + PROND EX 64) for an otherworldly effect, or ND8000 (PROND EX 8 + PROND EX 1000) to safely photograph the sun's surface with clarity and detail. The 67mm PROND EX Neutral Density Filter Kit is based on extensive sales data and the collective experience of millions of ND filter users worldwide. It's the essential collection for capturing the world in a myriad of expressions, ensuring that every shot you take is a testament to your creative vision and the high standards of your craft.
