Yes, they print just fine. When they're not dried out. Our climate here can get pretty dry. Sometimes the cartridges need to be replaced even when I haven't printed anything in color. I don't really think the monthly maintenance of printing a drop of ink is doing it. And this doesn't happen with any of our other printers, only this one.

I've had a problem with HP Ink. I buy new supply and over the months, I perhaps have 10 to 15 pages printed, and this is not always an entire page. Then, my printer tells me that my Ink level is low, replace cartridges. This Ink cost too much only to last such a short time. I think they are putting a small amount of ink in these Cartridges, so that you can return for another purchase. In a year's time, I spend quite a bit of cash for ink....enough to purchase another Printer,

Hi,
I hear your concerns. We value our customers and want them to have positive experiences. If this circumstance happened with multiple cartridges, there might be a greater concern with the printer.
Have you noticed any leaks?
Is the room very humid?
Both can cause dry or empty cartridges. Next time your printer states it is low ink, I would contact support. They will offer troubleshooting to find the cause.

I bought this HP 6700 Premium Printer several years ago and I have not even printed one pack of paper with it but yet I have had to replace the ink 9 times. The HP printer has been a piece of junk since day one and I don't print enough and the cartridges dry out by the time I need to print again. I will never buy another HP printer ever again. The cartridges are too expensive for what you get out of them. It is a complete rip off of peoples money.

I never print in color but it seems every 3 months the color cartridges need to be changed and the printer won’t print until they are changed. Looking for a printer that only uses and prints with black ink. Plus the price of this ink has almost doubled in 2 years.

This is not a good value. I am changing my ink all the time and it's very expensive. I also have an HP printer that will not print is only one color is depleted. As an example...you can be out of blue ink and the printer will completely shut down even if you want to print in Black with a full black cartridge. You have to replace the blue ink before you can resume printing in black. What a hassle.

The HP printer cartridges dry out too fast. I don't print a lot. Mainly my tax returns once a year. And when I need to print something else they are always telling me I need new cartridges and these are too expensive for what you get. I will never buy another HP printer ever.

This is a good brand ink but too expensive and really small amount of ink especially for this printer.

I'm very much into hp ink so by getting the chance to buy a big and combo pack enables me to get a lot of things done

HP - 933 3-Pack Ink Cartridges - Cyan/Magenta/Yellow (Blue/Pink/Yellow) doesn't prints whatever is written in the product description. The printing amount does not much it's cost, so prize is too high. Quickly finishes and if 1 of the color ink run out so you have to replace all 3 color in advance. Other vice your printer will not work. Sorry but it is a true. HP have to review cost of the product or improve a quality of it. I bought many times during a 2 years.

Not sure what happened but it was printing on a totally different color from need it. It was sometimes only purple and then only green or weird. Used it for a few printing for testing and it finished right away. Horrible!!!

My HP officejet printer does not recognize this as a real HP ink, I have had this problem numerous times, its the ink being sold not the printer, I have read that this is a problem, and numerous people have reported this about the ink being sold.

Difficult to pay so much for the ink and have it dry out so quickly. No way to turn off sensor so it does not show all cartridges as empty when only one color may be. Getting rid of this HP Printer too

I feel like I’m buying new ink every 10 pages that I print. Even if I’m only printing black and white text, somehow the color ink magically disappears too. Will probabaly be the last time I buy an HP PRINTER.

Hello Ryan,
I'm sorry that the cartridges do not last very long for you.
The printer will use a little of the colors even if you're printing in black and white sometimes. You can use the draft and black only settings to save on ink.
Turning the printer off between uses will also help a little. Just be sure to use the power button on the printer to turn it off. That protects the cartridges from excess drying of the tiny nozzles.

The color cartridges have been more necessary to print black and white documents. With low printing volume, these still seem to run low very quickly.

Went twice to store did not have a single yellow cartridge so finally bought the full set replaced all of them the yellow still said was out after numerous tries now it says the red is out so will not print

Although the printer was priced low, HP "gets you by the ink." The color cassettes don't last long and one is required to replace all the cassettes and the black ink cassette whenever any one is empty.

Customer service at Best Buy was great, but I don't like it that HP printers force me to buy ink! The same goes for other printers that force you to buy color ink, so you can use your black ink!

Blue cartridge was completely empty - it caused me to stop my work in the office and go to the store to purchase complete set again ($71.99). I will be calling Best Buy for a refund of this item.
