Okay, so I come from Samsung S27A950D, a 120hz 3D monitor which I couldn't let go for a LONG TIME. Now, been looking for an upgrade to 240hz, and HP Omen 27S caught my eye. The panel isn't glossy and does not appear fancy like my old Samsung. It has a pretty standard design (square stand, and a stand attached to the monitor with RGB on the back). And the screen looks kinda dead compared to my Samsung (Samsung feels more alive). But considering it being very affordable (I paid over 700 for my Samsung), I think it's a pretty descent monitor. Connected from my laptop using Type C to a HP Omen 27S display port, the NVIDIA Control Panel recognizes it as 240hz/1080p monitor with G sync support. For someone like me who prefers 1080p over 1440p this is perfect. With RTX3070 I am very comfortable @ 1080p anyways. I had to turn off the battery saving from Armoury-Crate (It's an ASUS laptop) to stop the refresh rate from changing from 240hz to 144hz after a reboot. Now everything is working flawlessly. I am not able to change the brightness for some reason, but having the sharpness at level 5 and response time at level 1, everything looks optimized. It is not a fancy monitor like the Samsung one, but for the price I will say it's a pretty descent 5 star monitor. Very satisfied.

It is a good monitor, there is a little bit of rendering but rest all is the best. Mainly it is best for gaming, so that means it is best in everything

This monitor has a beautiful display, it fits nicely into my set-up and the 240Hz has been perfect so far! I went from playing on a 144hz 24" monitor and this one has been an exceptional upgrade -- especially for the price point.

First and foremost the quality in screen design is pretty solid colors are good and speakers are there but audio is not the best i would say settings are easy now the problem mine personally had when i booted it up i noticed theres a dead pixel corner that is a big yikes given the price i paid keep in mind it shipped through ups with nk extra packaging so it could have been that but cant confirm

This monitor is much better than expected. The colors are very good and it’s noticeably better than a 60hz monitor. The crosshairs are great and the custom led lights and software are a bonus.

I’ve only had this Omen monitor for a few weeks so far, but I love it. I bought it to use with my MacBook Pro and it has made working on my computer at home so much better that I wish I would have bought this monitor way before now! Set was super easy and quick, the buttons on the back of the monitor make it easy to navigate through the settings, and the built in backlight is a nice touch also. The speakers sound very good too, but I primarily use Apple earbuds(wired) or Beats wireless headphones. If you can snag this Omen monitor on sale don’t pass it up!

Excellent gaming monitor. Always love HP Omen and this monitor does not disappoint. All the way up to 240 hz and even comes with a display port to smoothly run the 240hz. The HDR is also pretty solid for a monitor. I usually stray away from HDR pc gaming but the HDR is nice. Definitely would recommend, even if not on sale.
