Excellent am4 cpu, quality ram, adequately zippy SSD, and one of the best bang for the buck gpus. The Hanaoc motherboard has all the connections you'd want for USB, m.2, ram and sata. Case access is the easiest I've seen with tool free access to every panel. Easily removable dust filters everywhere you'd want them. Runs cool and practically silent with an AIO upgrade but it wasn't too bad with the stock coolermaster 120mm. I liked this case so much that I returned a Corsair one and bought an HP 45L for my flagship build. With this PC I got 40-50 fps on starfield, 80-90 on call of duty mw2 graphics maxed out at 1440p. RGB isn't the greatest on the stock coolermaster fans but it does come with a light bar, and it's easy to change the fans in the future. The HP RGB controller is finicky with certain brands of fans and lights but if you use coolermaster you'll have zero issues. PSU is a surprisingly powerful 800w coolermaster. All together one of the best prebuilts available, with easy expandability and fairly future proofed hardware

Bought it in March 2023. Works really good, its fast and quiet. Liquid cooling system with 3fans. And has space and slots to upgrade. Very happy with my online purchase.

I had to buy more ram, but other than that it’s a pretty solid machine. I have had very little issues with it.

This is my first HP Omen desktop gaming PC and I must say I'm impressed! I'm coming from an Alienware Aurora R7 with a 1080 and this 40L with a 3070 is great! My pro(s) and con(s) are listed below, Pro(s) 1) Design 2) Accessibility 3) Affordable 4) Air Cooled 5) Lighting customization 6) 4 ram slots (occupied by the 2 8GB ram) Con(s) 1) 4 USB ports on rear (the other 4 are on top at the front) 2) Fans (seem weak - can barely feel any air being pushed out) 3) Motherboard (I think this is an area where they cheaped out given the lack of ports) 4) 3070 is LHR 5) No "handle" 6) Only 1 M2 slot is visible (occupied by current SSD) Overall, the desktop is impressive - my main gripes are the lack of ports, specifically USB, on the rear and other M2 port is most likely covered by the GPU.

I like the HP Omen, it is a truly fantastic machine. My only complaint was when the RTX 3070 failed, but that wasn't an issue with the overall product. Mine had a defect, which wasn't even the fault of HP. I haven't heard of a large number of NVIDIA cards of any type failing like this, I'd trust them again.

I got this computer about 6 months ago and it is amazing. It runs all my games so well and is all-around amazing. I've added more RAM to it since and it was so easy!

After almost 2 years of use and gaming, this pc is still holding up like a champ. I play most games on 1440 high settings or 1080 ultra.

Premium price for decent quality. Although there are better 3070 deals out there. Omen is good Pc for overall gaming.

Had issues about 2 months after purchase. Spent HOURS on the phone with multiple calls to customer service as they tried to troubleshoot the issue. Finally they had us send it in to their service center. Being as we are in Hawaii everything took longer than they estimated and we waited 2 weeks to get it back. Seems to be working fine now. Disappointed that a brand new desktop had so many problems and we wasted so much time fixing it. Would have preferred they just exchange it for a new one so we wouldn't have to spend the time trouble-shooting, shipping, and waiting to get it back. In addition, customer service is difficult to get ahold of and it's a game of chance with who you get - some service reps are more knowledgeable than others.

Tried contacting HP for 3 days on the chat waiting up to 2 hours and no one answered. Still not even an email back to me. There customer service sucks. I returned this PC due to bad service and the computer kept randomly closing my games. I added more ram as it was using 80% but after I added ram still ran slow. I really wanted to like this pre built…
