A: This is not considered a fast computer. The step up goes this way for the Intel Processors: Celeron (1 brain), Pentium (2 brains), i3 ( faster 2 brains), i5 (4 brains) and finally i7 (8 brains). You can do basic stuff like going on the internet, watching videos and writing papers on this laptop. But if you want to do things like gaming, video and photo editing, it is recommended to look at a computer that has at least an i5 with at least 8 gigabytes of RAM. The i5 and i7 processors are what are considered fast processors.
Q: What’s a good processor and where does this fit on the scale of good processing?
A: You can do basic stuff like web browsing, watch videos and word processing. The Pentium processor is on the lower end of the Intel processor hierarchy. This is how it goes: Celeron, Pentium, i3, i5 and i7. If you want to be able to do more tasks at a time, then I would recommend a higher processor with more RAM. A typical computer comes with 4 gigabytes of RAM, so the more you get the more the computer can multi-task.

Q: Can you switch out of S mode?
A: Yes, if you click start, Then click settings ( the little gear looking thing), Then click Update and Security, In left column, click activation. You should see activation in S mode. below that You will see that it says, Switch to Windows 10 Home. Click go to store. A window will open with info on S mode and from here you can click get. and this will switch You out of S mode (Remember this, You can not go back to S mode after this). Hope this helps every one.

A: Yes, it has Windows 10. It has 1 USB C and 2 USB 3.0 ports.

A: Yes it has a built in camera and microphone and will work with a Zoom conference call.
Q: Is this good for beginning artists? Are their compatable stylus' and programs to use for art?
A: It would work well! The HP Pen 1MR94AA or the HP Tilt pen would work well!
Q: Does the keybord light up? How is sound quality ?
A: No, the keyboard doesn’t light up and the sound quality isn’t the best. I’ve had this laptop for over a year and the speakers stopped working.
