A: Yes the motherboard has M.2 port. After contacting HP customer service (4 times because I was hung up on 3 Times!). I was told that the M.2 port supports both SATA and PCIE M.2 ssd drives. I installed a Western Digital Black 256 M.2 SSD without any problems at all. The pc and Windows 10 installl found the drive right away, no additional drivers or updates required!

A: It does have a PCI-E x16 slot but only a 180 watt power supply to definitely no on the gtx 1070.
