Initially I was just going to stick with the factory wall-wart, but needed a charger for home. May as well get one with extra connections. About the only issue I had was figuring out how to update the firmware. But a few tries later it was done and set up to auto update. I do wish it had more USB3 ports, but what's there works. Just make sure you plug the USBC/lightning connector into the laptops port or the dock will be slower speed. Still haven't fully figured out the wi-fi capability (yes, it has that built in).

This is easily one of the most capable Thunderbolt 4 docks I’ve used. The 100W charging is a huge plus, as it keeps my power-hungry laptop topped off without needing an extra brick. I’m currently running a multi-monitor setup, and the signal stability is rock solid—no lag or flickering even at higher resolutions. The port selection is well-thought-out, providing plenty of USB options for peripherals and fast data transfer. It’s compact enough to keep the desk looking clean while acting as a true workstation hub. If you’re using a compatible HP or any Thunderbolt 4-enabled laptop, the integration is seamless. It’s definitely a pro-grade tool for anyone who needs to expand their screen real estate.

Great hub, works great right out of the box....I am able to plug and play to all my other devices. I have 4 monitors (which you will need adapter for display to usb-c)...overall great tool/item.
