Each unit includes a dirt cup filter screen to help restore airflow and filtration when your current assembly is clogged or worn. Designed for routine maintenance and easy swaps, the washable filter can be cleaned by hand in warm water (mild detergent optional) and must be air dried completely before reinstalling. To access the filter, remove the dirt cup, grasp the handle on the bottom of the dirt cup filter assembly, and turn counterclockwise to unlock.
