Pocket-size high power 365 nm UV blacklight flashlight with a 3 W LED, designed to reveal fluorescence for quick inspection and identification tasks. Use it to observe cracks and inclusions on the surface or inside gemstones, support mineral hunting, and help detect uranium glass / depression glass / vaseline glass. Variable focus lets you switch between a narrow spot beam for close inspection and leak tracing (with UV dye) and a wider flood beam for scanning larger areas such as hotel rooms, bathrooms, carpets, and bedding. Helpful for checking UV-activated inks, currency and document verification, security control, art forgery and repair tests, examining artwork and glass for hidden repairs, and finding pet stains or animal urine traces (cats and rodents) that fluoresce under blacklight; also useful for scorpion illumination, pottery and china repair checks, and inspecting glass for defects and cracks. Built with an aluminum body and simple on/off switch, and powered by 1 x AA battery (not included). Due to light intensity, protective glasses are recommended and the beam should not be directed into eyes.
