This portable 51 LED deep red light flashlight is designed for night activities where you need visibility without disturbing wildlife. It outputs a 620-625 nm wavelength (near the edge of infrared) to help reduce disruption to human night vision and to be less noticeable to many nocturnal animals compared with white light. The wide-coverage beam is useful for observation and spotlighting during ornithological night watching and other nighttime field work, including viewing turtles, snakes, reptiles, hedgehogs, coyotes, foxes, honey bee activity, and birds, as well as deer, badgers, field mice, starlings, beavers, and more.
