This non-fusible A/C disconnect switch provides a safe, convenient way to shut off power to outdoor HVAC equipment during service or maintenance. Built in a durable metal enclosure with a Type 3R rainproof rating and UL Listed construction, it is designed to withstand outdoor conditions while protecting electrical connections. Rated for 120/240 VAC and up to 60 amp in 1-phase, 3-wire, 2-pole applications, it supports common residential and light commercial setups where a disconnect is installed outdoors in visible proximity to the air conditioner condensing unit. The pull-out design helps simplify operation and installation, and the pullout handle can be stored in the compartment in the OFF position to reduce the risk of misplacement. A protective shield cannot be removed until the pullout handle is removed, helping ensure power is disconnected before access. Compatible with mini split disconnects, heat pumps, central air conditioning systems, swimming pools, and pump houses, and also suitable for generator disconnect or solar system disconnect applications when used within its electrical ratings.
