A huge influence on a generation of rock n' rollers, New Orleans R&B pianist Huey Smith formed Huey 'Piano' Smith and the Clowns with blues singer and female impersonator Bobby Marchan in 1957 and went on to record a string of hits. Among the many hits was a breakout Top Five R&B hit entitled InchRockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie FluInch. The record was issued as InchRockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu Part 1Inch on the InchAInch side, (a vocal) and InchRockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu Part 2Inch, an instrumental, on the flip. Presented here is that original single, newly re-mastered.
