Hugo Montenegro - Country and Western - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Jazz

There are certain performers who are at their best no matter what they do. Hugo Montenegro is such a performer. An innovator, a trend setter, he is equally at home amongst TV or motion picture scores, jazz standards, pop, rock, and even synthesizer music. One of the extraordinary realizations about Hugo, is his versatility as applied to different fields of music; theater, film, big band, and the many other challenging forms he has tackled throughout his career. Here he once more ventures into a new idiom - Country and Western. Incorporating that wonderful country feel with his imaginative orchestrations, creating a first-rate juxtaposition of the classic Montenegro sound with the idiosyncrasies of country and western music.
