I love this thing. I've had it about 5 months and its been working great for me. It seems flimsy at first, but you just have to learn how to use it. I'd like a second one so I can keep one in my desk and one in my backpack, but it's not exactly cheap. But I guess you really do get what you pay for ... This thing folds compact, so you can take it anywhere. People often walk up to me an ask where I got it. The design looks simple, but gives you a lot of ability to adjust the screen height. The other day, I was able to get it just right for a video meeting. I wouldn't want to type a novel on it, but the keyboard is very usable here, unlike my other stand that demands you use a separate keyboard. This is very valuable when using it away from home or office. And the ports mean I don't need to carry a separate hub or docking station. The only caution is that you really do need to get accustomed to setting it up securely and in a place where no one will bump into it, just to keep that computer safe from falling.

Purchased it today and the first impression when I opened it is...mediocre? - Pros: + All ports worked well as its specifications said, fast and stable. Just plug and play. + The combination between a laptop foldable stand and multiport hub is fantastic. I like this design better than the J5create docking station since I don't have to reach behind hub to connect cable or having the hub dangles beside my lap. + 2 separate USB-C ports seem not a big deal, but well, convenient for me. + Pretty compact and fashionable, just fold in, throw inside backpack and walla! Still have some space left for other devices. - Cons: + Hyperdrive really need to care more about quality control. The first hub I bought had a lot of scuff marks on the frame and cable looked like it's being used for months (minus points on comestic imperfection), so I immediately exchanged for a second and the situation seemed better (just a tad). + Fairly sharp edges with unfinished surfaces, same for 2nd hub. Not kidding, try to feel it with your hands or scrub the edges on paper and see it for yourself. + Flimsy build quality, though the frame is aluminum but the connection parts feel extremely weak and I worry with a little bit of strength, this thing may break apart. + Frame is not aligned right, you could actually move the base up and down. + The ports housing is made by cheap plastic, squeeze it tight my actually pop it. + Long cable is a plus, but cable organizing is a negative. - In Conclusion: This is nice Laptop stand Usb-C hub, one of a kind I ever seen. But for all the cons mentioned, $99 is a questionable price for me.

This is a pretty good stand with a hub. The fact that it closes and is compact allows you to travel with it w/o having to worry about a separate hub. If I had to gripe about this, I wish the USB c ports were labeled a bit more clearly. It took a couple of tries to realize which is one (power vs. data). Other than that, you get a pretty nifty and compact hup with the 2021 MacBook Pro.

Great stand for portability and air flow. Would work better on a chromebook or something that charges via usb-c

Super easy to use and my laptop is a large 17" but it carries with no problem

[Employee of bestbuy] I love that it folds up and that it takes up very little space in my backpack. I do wish that it had a network connection available.

I work from home and I needed a stand for my working laptop since I work with 2 extra monitors and use a wireless mouse and extra keyboard, this was very helpful for me due to its extra ports.

The 100W PD port is near the Cable. This took me longer than I liked to realize this. Great design for me, with a good port selection. I wish the lip for the laptop was slightly larger. I’ve used it as a travel work station the last few days and it has really helped.

This is perfect, a stand with hub, great idea. The stand folds up nice and compact so I can take it with me in my backpack, and I don’t need to bring a separate hub. Nice design and features.

I REALLY like this thing. Best stand for a gaming laptop. Allows 100% breathing space for cooling and it gives you extra usb ports, sd csrd reader and hdmi. For my individual case, Id rather have another usb port instead of the hdmi because my pc already has hdmi out and i dont need a second. I also wish it would spread out wider. It DOES work for my 17 inch, but i really have to make sure its sitting just right before im satisfied with it and it places the ports down underneath my laptop making them pretty difficult to get to, so i use those ports for the components that stay on my desk (keyboard, dac, and cd drive). I still love it and im glad i bought it, those are just the only two things id change if i could. Idk why they limited the distance you can spread it out but they did and its not very wide at all. Its a very nice looking, sturdy, quality unit. Easy to transport. Nice to keep on the desk stationary. I would recommend to anyone.

Such a great product with an even greater simple design. Love all the built in ports including the hdmi. I use it for my at home work setup and its so easy to dock and undock. Its been a great purchase and a gem of a find for something I didn't know i needed.

It’s a nifty little thing to have and comes in handy, but it’s basically the same usb c adapter I had for my MacBook anyways. Works well you just have to have it plugged into an adapter that supports the 100w that it says it does if you are using it to power the device at the same time your using it or it won’t charge as it should. It works as advertised and is cool and all but not at the price it costs in my book,

Good product for travel and connecting multiple devices. The only issue I have is that it is difficult to move as it collapses (legs together and arms separately) at the slightest touch. So don’t move the laptop once it’s placed. I will love its convenience and utility.

Purchased item for a family member. At first it felt flimsy but it did what it supposed to do. All ports are working and it does hold the laptop.

Well designed, sturdy when set up properly, good amount of port options on the built-in hub, nice hidden power-in plug on the bottom. The portability is a nice factor as well, folds up to a very compact bar that fits nicely in a bag if you need it. The only negative is the 4k 30 limitation on the HDMI port - for the price they really should have made this a 4k 60 video out. To my eyes the 30hz produces noticeable video lag but it's livable in a pinch.

This stand works perfectly for my laptop that has fans on the bottom and gets insanely hot. In addition it has a usb-c port that can allow charging to pass through which is an incredible addition. I have not found another laptop stand with both of these features that is highly portable.

Excellent multi-port hub for my 16" MacBook Pro (2022). Works well with my other 14" MacBook Pro as well. I love how I can take it with me anywhere I go and it folds up nicely.
