Audio is muffled and low eq. Dts improves it a bit but not better than the cloud 2 which are far superior in audio technology not sure why it has a 4 + rating. A10s and Turtle Stealth 600 are probably a better buy.

Speaker quality was fine but mic quality? Hello? No where to be seen?? 66 dollars for a headphone I can’t even talk through without sounding like I’m under the water and 5 dollar mic quality.

Sounds very bad , but microphone is top level, don’t recommend to buy it for gaming

I loved the Cloud II, used them for years, so I figured I’d finally upgrade to the III. Big mistake. Not only does the audio sound worse, but it somehow functions even worse. When plugged into my PC, it has feedback issues. Every sound playing through my PC somehow goes through the headset and echoes through the microphone, meaning everyone can hear any music or sounds coming from my PC. This isn’t an issue with my PC either, as I’ve never had this issue using the same PC with the Cloud II and other headphones. Genuinely so disappointed that I loyally upgraded only to be served an even worse product.

Ive never had so many issues out of a headset consistently for no apparent reason. This is terrible. And the software is bad. The default EQ is bad. Awful headset. Dont buy it.

Ear pad popped off don’t like microphone. Just a cheaper version with higher cost

The microphone casing broke within 2 months. I replaced it with a hyper 2 and that's been great. Best buy wouldn't take the hyper 3 back.

i can’t hear anything out of it, very disappointing

Had this less than a year and the microphone does not work. Have tried everything. Huge waste of money. Speakers work. But no microphone. Went in Ngenuity app and my PC. Made sure everything was working. Re updated drivers. Tried everything. Simply won't work. Extreme let down.

Buy cloud 2 instead of this it way better this randomly cuts out volume n you have to increase the volume to fix it

I have had hyper x cloud 2's with the 7.1 surround sound for years. It's the best headset I've ever bought, but they're worn out now and I'm having some cable issues. So I bought these to replace them. As it turns out the surround sound they market on the Cloud 3s does not work. if it does do something in a game it isn't accurate and usually it just makes everything sound worse than when it is off.

If you are expecting hyper x cloud II quality, these are not it. Since the brand was purchased by HP its gone way downhill in quality. The new cloud III are absolutely garbage. The microphone is extremely quiet, and they have no bass at all.The advertised features do not work when trying to enable in them in the Ngenuity software. Not to mention the cord is not removable.

The microphone didn’t work for me and there was a constant sound that sounded like I was plugging the headphones in and out of my computer. All in all I wouldn’t try them out it’s just a waste of time and money

Poor sound quality, i had to replace ear cushions cause d one that came with the set makes ur ears sweat.

Lasted 3 months and the microphone got messed up luckily I purchased the Best Buy warranty and had to get my son a replacement I wouldn’t recommend these headphones they were great the first month then after a headache

One of the worst sounding headsets zero base downloaded their app to adjust settings didn't help downloaded an EQ just made it sound worse for having 53mm drivers it sounds like all it has it mid and high (legendary sound) yeah legendarly bad sound my god my son has the $30 version of these and they sound better

Never had problems with hyperx but this ones chord went bad in a little over a month of use

Had it for 1 week and audio output disappeared, not a pc issue.

Headfones were very poor. Returned product 2 days later

Second pair still having Mic issues will be returning and buying a different brand...
