Though I've had great experiences with HyperX headsets before, this one really missed the mark. The fit is great, build great, I was told that the mic was clear, but what kills it is the really shallow sound of everything. The games I've tried sound distant. The surround is actually really good. Heard a car go by and it was clearly moving from left, to front, to right. Too bad it's all just flat. Even changing settings in the Ngenuity software couldn't save this. If this doesn't bother you, then save yourself some money and get another brand for half the price.

This item is not good it break easy and it is not working now and just purchased it. I would not recommend it to anyone

Let's just say the Cloud ll is far superior to these in just about every single aspect. I would recommend another Hyper X headset over these if you want to go wired.

Needed a new headset as my HyperX Cloud II headset was starting to go out. The drop in the sound was astronomical. The sound was super flat and ruined my previous love of HyperX.

Comfy but volume is really weak. I can barely hear anything and the volume is at max.

It's sturdy, and comfortable, but the audio is kinda bad, and everyone complains that my mic is way to quiet. On Xbox it cuts me off mid sentence.

Great sounding headphones, unfortunately, the mic is short and only reaches the side of your cheek rather than in front of your mouth, making you sound muffled. I don't understand why half these mics are long enough to reach in front of your mouth and the other half reach the side of your cheek. I guess people talk out the side of their cheek rather than their mouth. Oh well, I will be returning these. First letdown from a HyperX product.

Cheap connection going from Aux -> USBC -> USB causes microphone issues with my top of the line setup. All drivers etc up to date and still having issues. What a waste of money.

Terrible audio quality, there’s no bass, it sounds like a phone speaker. Every sound sounds like its coming from in front of you. Buy the first HyperX Cloud, it sounds way better, is more comfortable, and is half the price.
