A: Volume is so subjective on this one. Some people are fine with loud noise, some people are very sensitive. I'll just say that when it's idling, it's as loud as a gaming laptop at turbo performance. When the iBuyPower is at turbo, it's as loud as a car starting up. I think the fan noise is by design. Even if you tweak BIOS to silent, it's still loud imo. Maybe iBuyPower used cheap fans on this one so if you're all right with doing it yourself, you could replace them with better quality ones.
