Once installed, it began expelling the air and generating ice efficiently, so we had usable ice within a reasonable amount of time.

I bought this item Nov 27,1923 & got it installed in feb. It was a long,long time. I'm not happy with this. When I called Best Buy I did not get the store, instill I got some lady that was some where else. I don't think that's good business.I wanted to talk to some-one at the store.Andrew B

It makes ice. We needed ice. I am happy to have ice. The guy installed it in less than 15 min. Pretty awesome.

I purchased a small LG Fridge with an optional Ice maker that Best Buy delivered and installed. The IceMaker worked for 2 months and has not worked since. I contacted Best Buy and was told LG was responsible for the repair. LG stated that since it was an optional Icemaker that was not Factory installed it was Best Buy's responsibility. After months of getting the run around the IceMaker still isn't fixed. Best Buy customer service is the worse I've encountered and as a TotalTech member I expected better service. Without an Icemaker the fridge is less than useful and neither Best Buy nor LG are customer focused.

Doesn't fit the intended refrigerator. LG doesn't even know what the part is and I was told that the refrigerator that I was sold should not even be offered at Best Buy
